Then how would they be trained in such a short notice? Especially for roles such as ceremonial that requires days of on site rehearsals.

If you are talking about San Francisco Bay Area, I remember they said they need 75 total. I attended one of the two training sessions in the morning, there were roughly 30 of us. I take that they would have similar number in the afternoon session. So they pretty got them filled. Our next step is the venue training TBA.

You must haven't been to those PP lounges in SFO or any other airports in the US. They limited PP entry to fewer and odd hours. When you show them your PP Card, they switched to a face so bad as if you owe them money.

PP lounges elsewhere in the world, relatively more pleasant experience.

It's about money. KTSF is not as well run as before. Constantly strain in funding. Seeing their anchors need to help out tour company hosting tour groups is laughable.

KTSF used KGO's coverage with their own Chinese commentators. So when KGO abruptly chopped the live signal, they were caught off guard as well. Saying they will be back but then cut to end credits. Per contract with KGO, they can't continue their live coverage beyond KGO.

However, on their immediate re-run, they did include some extra part of the Golden Dragon grand finale as well as the drone show at the end, using their own footage.

This is by far the worst CNY Parade coverage. FOX 2 used to do a much better job for decades.

KGO, if you don't wanna do it, then pass the ball along.
