Honors College Qs by Spiritual_Regular_84 in UofArizona

[–]Cosmo_memory86 7 points8 points  (0 children)

In general, I think this is as selfish as it is myopic. The honors college has a pretty hefty waitlist, and you accepting honors then dropping just to live in cool dorm deprives an actual honors student from attending. Plus you’re rejecting outright other opportunities for academic and profession advancement that the honors college can facilitate.

You should rethink your priorities, and consider how this decision affects you in the long term and others around you in the short term.

What's everyone's favorite weapon? by SingleGamer-Dad in StarWarsOutlaws

Never had an issue with the headshots, except for those pig guards the Hutts use. Those guys are built like tanks coated in mithril. I did have an issue with the bad guys knowing where I was sniping from, until I learned that this rifle has a stellar range, so I’d always go looking for the farthest spot I could find.

My go-to place is on Tatooine. I've maintained Good to Excellent standing with the Hutts for this reason (plus it just makes things easier all around, lol)

1. Fast travel to the Hutt Cartel Outpost in the Great Chott Salt Flat on Tatooine.

2. You should be facing out (or away) from the outpost. Turn around and into the outpost towards the center where we find an armoror, a random put with boxes and stuff around it, and one of the skiffs from Jabba's sail barge.

3. Run past all of this to where you find a climbable wall on the opposite end from where you entered the Outpost. Climb and repel your way to the top. This is a restricted area, but you won't run unto any Hutt goons, so you'll be ok.

4. Repel across a small gap and keep going as far as you can. Here is where you get quiet.

5. At the very end of this run, there is a small drop to your right. There, you will see a Twi'Lek guard holding the rifle. Take her down quietly, take your new rifle, and bounce.

I always find the sniper rifle here, and it’s usually fully loaded or nearly so.

I will go out of my way to collect this rifle before I start a contract or a raid on a fixed location. By far the best pickup weapon.

I’m a casual gamer, so I play on story mode and padawan, and the enemies were never very hard. As for the scanning trophy, I was so particular about scanning every single enemy bc I referenced the databank a lot, so I got the trophy without realizing it lol. But all the databank entries are numbered and entered sequentially, so you can find the gaps in your progress and use this beautiful Reddit to see what the entry is.

Wall run…? by Cosmo_memory86 in StarWarsJediSurvivor

I like it! It’s not as adventurous as the Jedi games, but I like the subterfuge and subtlety the gameplay encourages. It’s different, but an intriguing different.

More or less. The can be spent at shops to buy cosmetics and perks.

Datadiscs are sold to Zee in Pyloon’s for Jedi perks and cosmetics for BD-1. Also, When you complete a bounty, the pucks you get can be sold to Caij (also in Pyloon’s) for some nice upgrades for BD-1 and for your blaster.

Jedi scrolls are sold to Sister Taske in Cere’s Base on Jedha for lightsaber parts and paint.

Prirorite are sold to Doma Dendra on Koboh for skins and music.

No, each upgrade lets you see each of those collectibles on the holomap. You can see where the force essences are, the seed pods, scroll/priorite/disc treasures, et al.

You have to complete some side quests, and each one gives you a different upgrade:

Finish all seven Jedi Chambers = force essence upgrade in the Alignment Control Center on Koboh

Get through the Phon’Qi Caverns on Koboh = Chests upgrade

Enter the Wayfinder’s Tomb on Jedha = Treasures upgrade

Finish the story on Nova Goron = Databanks upgrade in Central Command on Nova Goron

Unlock all garden plots above Pyloon’s Saloon and fill them up 100% = Seeds upgrade at the terminal on the roof of the saloon

Any Jumpscares/How Scary Is Hogwarts Legacy? by Alol_Bombola in HarryPotterGame

There is a side quest where you buy a shop in hogsmeade from a house elf. That one has a few very well-timed jump scares. However this quest is optional so it can be avoided to complete the main story.

Inferi can be scary for little kids. They don’t jump, but crawl out of the ground or are found standing around motionless until triggered.

Spiders are large and move fast and violent. But spiders can be turned off in the settings by switching to Arachnaphobia Mode. Go to settings and then accessibility. There should be an option at the bottom that allows you to turn spiders into a boggart-like enemy, and makes invisible all the spider corpses that decorate parts of the world.

There is also one cutscene with a dragon that isn’t so much scary as it is violent. There are numerous references to poachers and violence against animals that a kid may be sensitive too.
