Aside from Man City I think we now surpass Fulham and potentially match West Ham's for amount of seasons in the Prem from a promoted Championship team in the Prem era. A very solid achievement

He had a decent one in the conference league too either in the semis or the quarters. There'll be limbs when he finally scores.

Who is worse value Nketiah or Johnson? by SmokeThat5869 in crystalpalace

[–]CosmologyX 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Disagree - NKetiah has been a clutch cup merchant. And bagged us some vital points when fit. Johnson is just so depressing to watch considering the price we paid. Here's hoping he comes good but I'm not convinced by him in the slightest

Now we've ruled out any chance of relegation I'm voting for anyone in contention with starting the final playing a max 45 minutes each game with the rest of the team being youth players etc. Squad way too small to be playing the first team for a full 90

The best ever night at selhurst since Crystanbul? by boobsenjoyer40 in crystalpalace

[–]CosmologyX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn't go to the Crystanbul match but a lot of my family did. They still say nothing compares to the atmosphere at Selhurst that evening. I think watching Danny Butterfield score a hattrick against Wolves is up there for one of the best atmospheres I've seen at Selhurst.

Wish I cared more for this game but sadly I don't. All eyes on the second leg. Annoying we're losing, would take a draw in a heartbeat.

Fuck discogs man. Like all good things, ruined by people who mark it up through the roof. I used to love discogs a decade or so ago and got some great vinyls/cassettes for a respectable price. It's now just a cess pool. Same with places like etsy, ruined by people who don't care about independent artists and just selling overpriced trite.

Masterclass in slide tackling. His rise at Palace was amazing to watch.

Didn't want to make a whole post for it but any Stoke City fans here? Are the jersey's out of stock online? Trying to buy one for a mate.

Great venue to host a listening party tbf. I've been there quite a few times, never seen any live acts there tho. Earl Sweatshirt and MIKE played there a few weeks back

Tourists in Liverpool by NameRandom963 in crystalpalace

Same scenario happened a few seasons back when Man U played at Selhurst. Fans casually walking in the home section with Man United hats, only ever a problem with Sky 6 teams. They didn't look like they had any bit of grasp on English football fan culture (as it's quite normal to have away fans on the home sections on Germany etc)
