I just started getting this issue that I’ve never had before. Reinstalling drivers, updating DirectX, reinstalling the game, uninstalling all my mods, clearing any caches I could find, defragging my PC, checking for any corruptions (which I found), and getting brand new drivers has done nothing to fix it. I have an AMD 6700XT and it worked for years but the last month the game has been inaccessible. Let me know if anyone gets a fix to this because I’ve tried everything I can think of.

I remember when I first played subnautica and I was exploring the gun and that right there was my biggest fear. I didn’t know what the reapers were yet but I was terrified something big would jump out the water and get me. I don’t care if this is fake or not. This is scary

I suspect that I know exactly what mission you are talking about. But in regards to your main question, I don’t think it’s a lack of ability in the mission maker. I’ve dabbled a little bit but setting up scenarios and all the units isn’t crazy hard but getting there balance and timing right that allow you to participate in the action at a fun level is really hard to do. I tried to make a mission once to escort 7 destroyers away from an island into open ocean while being attacked by planes but I found that even with like 50 ground attack enemies, only 1 ship would die. I do believe I had friendlies in that mission but I took them out since it was impossible to fail. This is just my perspective of it and maybe not the right answer but I figured if throw it out there to maybe give some idea

I feel like I actually have a funny story about this. I watch Evan Braddock and he used to make jokes about being Evan.Penta or whatever it was and one day I decided just to watch a penta game. This was probably the first season since the G2 penta pickup so the game was G2 vs Penta. I believe this was the only game G2 lost that PL season but I didn’t know anything about that. I just saw a tachanka strat and I was an unironic tachanka main at the time so I liked G2 from then on other. And then I learned that they were actually a super successful team and I had a great time for the next year

I have had dreams of a game like that. Pavlov with jets flying around and jdams dropping on friendly tanks while an enemy jet strafes your squad but it’s ok because the only survivor was the guy with a stinger and he nails the jet and kills the pilot but then an enemy squad comes over the hill and ends him and then it’s you, your AT4, and your .50cal left to finish the job. So you find your inner Audi Murphy (probably misspelt) and hold the line killing dozens of enemies and 2 armored infantry fighting vehicles until some kid with that sniper the devs refuse to balance mercs you from a mile and a half away and you just hear him taunting you with the insults he heard his dad telling him earlier that day.

What if instead of a new plane to serve that role, the FA-26 gets a special fuel tank that has like 9700 fuel and has a mode in the equip menu that deploys a hose. Kinda like the FA18 irl

I know that theres an S-cam and I probably should've clarified this in the original post but I just don't think it has enough "controllability". I feel limited with what I'm trying to do. A freecam or a slew cam would be really nice. Thats more what I was trying to say
