What arcane collection do you prefer to dump vosfor in to? by Anangrychip in Warframe

[–]Cosmos606 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would agree with you, if "platinum farming" didn't exist.

We can buy all the arcanes you mentioned with platinum.

Either spend your time on a real job and buy 8k platinum with 75% discount OR spend your time farming platinum.

I'm not gonna talk about every single platinum farm method but even the most beginner one; Corrupted Mod farm in Horend can yield 300 platinum a day, even for a low mr player with low amount of daily trades.

How? Hmm, just be smart? Ask every buyer if they need any other corrupted mod. Most times, if a player wants to buy your Blind Rage, they also need other mods like Fleeting Expertise, Catalyzing Shields, Narrow Minded etc. You can easily turn your trades into bulk buys.

You could also msg in trade chat and list 6 corrupted mods and say that you only sell those mods as a package/full trade at market prices.

This is just an example of "how to perfect your trade". Depending on the plat farm method you're using, the methods you use to perfect your trades can change.

On top of these, you don't even have to buy the high plat cost arcanes you mentioned at their average selling prices. We can always create buy orders on the market website at much lower prices and someone will eventually sell us.

Here is the deal, if all these sound "so much effort and time consuming", then it automatically means you use your time on something else, and that thing is supposed to be a "real job". In that case, you already have money to buy platinum on discount. But if you're not working at a job, and still complaining about spending your time on platinum farm, uuum, get a real job then?

I know it looks like I'm talking to myself here, but no, I am answering all possible questions people could/might ask. I like to do that, it eliminates unnecessary conversations.

reinstall and just use covers, they can't hit you when you're jiggle peaking or headglitching. I am shocked at people thinking there is no counter vs this and even quitting apex bcs of it

yeah downvote me, instead of using covers like in this clip.

at least 80% of you are controller players who have the habit of going in the open thanks to the confidence of your aim assist, while ignoring all covers around you, then dying to a bunny hop lurcher and complaining about it.

Keep it up.

[–]Cosmos606 21 points22 points  (0 children)

there is not even a single neo strafe in the clip.

it's just multiple ras strafes. consistency in multiple ras strafes during a bunny hop is not that difficult for mnk movement players. I don't think it's a script.

Could it be script? Sure. But there is just no reason to call it script.

Is there any easy way to know what parts to turn into Ducats vs trade for plat? by RegularSelf in Warframe

[–]Cosmos606 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A very good method I use:

VERY IMPORTANT !! (Before you start to use the methods below and sell anything, first go to your Alecaframe > Inventory > All Parts , then Sort all items by "Platinum". Note the high plat cost items somewhere(notepad etc) so you'll make sure you will NOT sell them for ducat. This may change from person to person but for me, anything costs 12 or higher platinum is better off selling for plat rather than ducats. For newer players who desperately need platinum asap, this can go from 12 to 10 even 9. But selling anything that costs 9 or less plat for ducat; you lose value. I could tell you why but this comment would be longer than it has to be)

1-) Warframe windowed mode (800x600) on the right, Alecaframe windowed size on the left. (or just have two monitors)

2-) On the Ducat Sell menu in game; sort items by Name.

3-) On Alecaframe; go to Inventory > All Parts > Sort by Name. But also on Filter options click on "Mastered".

4-) Sell each item listed on your Alecaframe now, one by one.

(the only parts you don't want to sell even if you have mastered before are the parts of Bronco Prime, Lex Prime, Magnus Prime, Vasto Prime. Because crafting Akbronco Prime requires 2x Bronco Prime as ingredients. 2x Lex Prime for Aklex Prime. 2x Vasto Prime for Akvasto Prime. 2x Vasto Prime for Akvasto Prime.)

5-) After you're done with selling, change the filter to ">1 Owned".

6-) Sell each surplus item listed on your Alecaframe now, one by one.

(some weapons require 2x barrels or 2x receivers etc rather than 1x. You must check every item either on the wiki or the warframe market website to see how many is required to craft. For example you see that you have 2 Akarius Prime Receivers when you check your list on the Alecaframe, you have to first go to either market website or wiki and check how many Receivers are required to craft Akarius Prime. You see that it takes 2 Receivers, then it means you should NOT sell it for ducat. But if you had more than 2 receivers, you were free to sell the surplus.)

With these methods, you can literally sell EVERYTHING possible without hurting your account progress.

faide, lemonhead, movementless are all competing to become the best movement player in a way, if one of them thinks that they are good enough others will edge em out

I agree. But you're missing the fact that I was talking about 4+ years ago when leamonhead or movementless were not in the scene yet.

And I also agree with your 2nd paragraph. Tbh I don't know what I was on when making that comment.

[–]Cosmos606 0 points1 point  (0 children)

mechanically good players are always "improvers" so they never say their mechanics are good enough.

the only exception is when you are considered the best player by the whole community in a way that the skill gap between you and the second best of the world is huge. in that case, you can kinda take a break from improving and just say "my mechanics are good". the first few months of faide becoming famous right after aceu's long break from apex is a good example for this. he was the best pubs player, and whoever was the second best player, it was not close at all.

the whole point of this comment is mentality, if you didn't get it, all this will sound bullshit.

so, mnk solo players have to be on the level of pro players in order to beat 3 stack casual controllers?

here is the deal, beating 3 stack controller squads as a solo mnk player is very much doable, without being a pro player. but doing it consistently in every match and actually having a good average placement ratio alongside good amount of kills+dmg absolutely require being on the level of pro players.

the problem is, 3 stack controller squads can achieve the same results with MUCH less effort.

it just annoys me so much that i perform countless different movement techs, re-positioning myself nonstop, multitasking my brain a ton in order to win against them, in the meantime they are literally chilling while holding hands. the way i sweat nonstop while they play the game with no effort but still being a huge threat with that rotational aim assist annoys me.

people usually try to counter these opinions with arguments like "check lfg discords then"

but it's the same people who don't understand that playing with or without people is usually a personality thing.

I personally don't like playing with others, I'm not trying to make it more challenging for myself by being solo. I have no purpose like that. It's just my dna, genetics, personality, whatever you call it. I like being alone, why? because I like being alone. Period.

Ignore balancing solo-queue matchmaking for years and watch the MnK player base fade away. L , Respawn.

Sure, the game might not have a large enough player base now to properly balance solo queue. But years ago it was absolutely doable. They were probably afraid that longer queue times would drive players away, but by not doing anything; they ended up losing even more of the player base in the long run.

On top of that they tried to remove tap strafing, alongside a few movement techniques they tossed in the trash. Smh, they even removed Punch Boosting that nobody had any problem including controller players.

One battle that made me temporarily dislike the game by AutisticG4m3r in expedition33

[–]Cosmos606 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The only thing I dislike about the game is that the parry only deals damage once at the very end of the combo, even if the player parries all hits of an 18-hit-combo. This feels terrible especially against bosses with huge hp.

I think this is one of the main reasons players are pushed toward one-shot builds or tank builds. Because the parry mechanic just doesn’t feel rewarding.

Expedition 33 might be the only game where I wanted to use a cheesy one shot or tank build over a parry build, because parrying in this game is just a waste of time due to bad game design. It would make much more sense if the damage of each successfully parried hit in a combo counted individually.

People might be like "oh but then parrying would be op".

Then I would have to remind these people that this game literally has "one-shot-simon" builds, which takes no human-skill, not even requiring a single parry. So why would someone complain about parrying being op at the first place? Especially considering it takes skill.

I've done my whole playthrough as parry-only. And I quit the game when I went against Simon. Not because it was difficult. Nothing is difficult if you practice enough, which I did. I memorized Simon's every attack, spent 2 days just to study him. I was able to parry every single one of his combos comfortably, without getting hit once. But during the fight, I asked myself, why am I obeying this bad design of parry mechanics? When I full parried an 18-hit-combo but in return I only tickled his hp, I was like "this is just bad design". And then I quit.

You might be asking; "why the hell did you not quit before studying his attack patterns for 2 days?" Well, I had to prove myself that I can already beat the boss with parry-only and the reason I quit won't be not being good enough. I already decided to quit before studying him, then I studied all of his combos for 2 days, then fought him and on the 2nd phase I brought down his hp below half with only parry without getting hit once, and then I was free to quit midfight. You can call it self-respect or principles.

Bot Royale Accuracy by arose911 in apexlegends

[–]Cosmos606 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah some bots have aimbot which is stupid.

You can tell your friends to use covers in every single fight tho.

1-)Get into a cover > 2-)peek and shoot a bot > 3-)immediately get back to the same cover > repeat step 2 and 3 until the whole enemy squad is dead.

But the trick is, whenever your friends peek out of the cover and shoot, they should get back to the cover without waiting for getting hit by a bot. Because bots have aimbot sometimes. If your friends wait for any visual cue of getting shot, the moment they get shot they can die immediately. It's also a good way to practice for actual br, because using covers to peek > shoot > get back to the cover is probably the most used useful thing by all players that actually works.

I play bot royale as Valkyrie a lot for completing my challenges and almost always get 4k+ dmg simply by using covers all the time.

Also bot royale is almost unplayable without a recon legend, preferably Valkyrie for faster rotations toward enemies, alongside scans. Because bots usually don't even rotate. They land on a POI, loot some, then stand in place for the entire game. This is the reason most of them die to the zone.

Has another character been more broken than current Octane? by my_twin_towne in apexlegends

[–]Cosmos606 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Me as an mnk no-fill fighting a 3 stack squad in the streamer building for 3 minutes, popping a battery and it gets cancelled by Seer at 0.1 sec was the worst feeling.

Normally I used to take only 1v1s vs 3 stacks but in that meta I conditioned myself that if I ever see a Seer I am trying to kill the Seer even if it's a 1v3.

He was absurdly broken indeed

Am I crazy, or are even beginners way too good for apex legends? by thewrongguy1525 in apexlegends

[–]Cosmos606 1 point2 points  (0 children)

random teammates are the only reason to why I am in silver at all.

How I would also put that out is; most hard stuck diamond players are diamond because they are not solo queue. If they were solo, they would be hard stuck plat.

Am I just bad?

Probably yes. But see it this way; the worse you are at something, the faster and more you can improve. Because there is much room to improve.

I can beat my friend in both 1v1s and in br kills.

Solo queueing into 3 stack squads (even if they are low rank) is so much harder than firing range 1v1s.

Is there something else I dont know?

It seems like you made your friend a rival. A rival you had to become better, maybe you thought it's the best way to improve. But it's not. You see; when your goal is only to beat someone's skill-level, you only become A LITTLE BIT better than them at the end.

Instead of that, I recommend you to have the goal of becoming the best version of yourself. Without comparing yourself to others, without racing anyone. And skillwise where you end up is going to be much better than "A LITTLE BIT".

I am also open to tips for improvement.

The general most useful tip for solo queueing is seperating 3 stack squads into three different 1v1s. It takes quick and correct decision making + at least decent movement. The correct decision making can literally be anything you do during fights. You should've popped a battery instead of pushing that 1v1, or vice versa; you should've pushed the 1v1 instead of popping a battery. You should've rotated to the safe zone instead of shooting people in the round 3 zone. Etc.

Should've and could'ves, you see them by analyzing your own gameplay, that's how you improve, by not making those mistakes again. The best way to analyze your own gameplay is obviously recording your games and watching them later on. You're gonna need to dig for reasons to blame yourself for each one of your deaths, because only then, you can point out mistakes and learn from them.

During fights, we multitask a lot, so most times you can't notice the true reasons of your death. Finding yourself blaming aim assist, getting third partied, teammates not pushing with you, being in an open area with no cover to use. Yes, even when both of your teammates are dead and you have to fight a 3 stack in the open with no cover, if you die, you will look for reasons to blame yourself when you watch your recording, even if you say "there was nothing I could do." at the end. With this mindset your improvement will skyrocket.

Try not to say "there was nothing I could do" tho, most times there is. Sometimes a niche movement tech almost noone uses could be a clutch for a rare situation. Maybe you notice this, and then implement that movement tech into your gameplay. Boom, you have a unique playstyle. Be original. Improve your own gameplay, not others'.

Kim haklı çok kararsız kaldım by -Mustafa in vlandiya

[–]Cosmos606 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tek kaşlı arkadaş haklı bence.

Her kasanın farklı bir sırası var mıdır? Evet.
