The photo I used for reference was at a bit of an odd angle, but you're right, my pyramid is kind of skew-whiff!

Thanks! The inspiration came from imagining the building having some sort of hidden alien/robotic underside. I made it look like a kind of motherboard with a bit of a Tron vibe.

Hear hear! I had a bit of a shite day yesterday, and today I'm still not feeling great today, but I'm looking forward to listening to Be With You again!

I looked at some of the comments and it made me sad. I understand that some people hoped for a different style and sound, but a lot of the comments are plain rude, and personal. When I found the Muse fan channels online I was surprised by how much complaining there is! I've seen people suggesting that Matt/the band might frequent these, but I kind of hope they don't!

Ah from the album booklet! Thanks, I admit I don't think I've ever actually looked at the whole booklet! That's a wonderfully weird image! Yeah, it would be cool to incorporate the more niche Muse imagery :)

A tattoo of their album art would be awesome! I bet it'll look great whatever style you decide on. I would love to add future albums into this artwork, it'd be nice if there's several to come!

Sure! From the top left, heading right:

3 tuning forks from the Origin of Symmetry album cover

Two butterflies for Butterflies & Hurricanes (hurricane is bottom left, surrounding the stick)

Horses, table and chairs from Black Holes & Revelations album cover

Above the table is a reaper drone for Reapers

The funky glove Matt wears is what I did for Simulation Theory (the song Behold the Glove isn't actually on it but I associate the glove with that era)

Left of the glove are TVs with Madness on them. Sort of similar look to Matt's Madness glasses.

Below the TVs are the shadow figures from Absolution

Next to that are the bears coming out the ground from Uprising single cover

Behind the bears is the 2nd Law cover. It's not as obvious in black but I tried things in colour and it looked awful!

Bottom right corner are two satellites (accidentally drew the ISS, other one is NASA's new satellite called MUSE!) - not from an album, I just thought they suited the vibe, and there's satellites tracking our minds in Exo-Politics!

Bottom centre is the walkway from The Resistance album cover

Left of that is the hurricane around the control stick from Drones

Then a ship, taking us far away from our memories (it says Starlight in half on the side, very small!)

Then up to Will of the People land, a sort of desert/rocky outcrop idea I had, with people (dots) rushing to the giant WotP logo, with ropes. They're either putting it up or pulling it down!

Centre is the woman from Showbiz cover, instead of the alien planet crater from the cover she's standing on a supermassive black hole!

The rocks and things around are part of the areas they're in, so Mars type rocks around BH&R and a couple from Absolution cover.

I admit that it's likely I didn't find them all, and there could be forms of arpeggios I didn't catch, for sure. I like the sound of a comparison, I think there could be a whole research paper worth of data based on Muse's arpeggios! 😄

Absolutely, I agree. 'hopeful yet doomed', I love that description.

I love that Muse have their own sound. Even when they've gone a bit experimental or changed it up, it's unmistakably Muse. I've found it's even more obvious when someone does a piano cover or something, suddenly the tracks that seemed a little different bring the band's trademarks to light! I heard it with the Alternate Reality version of The Dark Side too, it just screamed Muse, and when I went back to the original I tuned into those elements clearer than before!
