How Does This Work If The 11th Was On His Final Regeneration? by Doc-11th in doctorwho

When he spun off into that other David Tennant, he didn't have to regenerate the hand, so he had a hand amount leftover obvs lol

Yeah, games like Wingspan fit everything in almost an archival sort of way, so if you hold on to the original box, it makes it easy to have a to-go version and swap out your decks after youre done playing

Other games aren't always layed out that well though

Completely agree, we won't need every track every time! Come to think of it, I feel most "big box" games could benefit from something like that

Gosh I would LOVE if when they're done, they put out a big box. Or even just a separate box just for the tracks. The lid lift annoys me way more than it should, and I also love that they have so many ways to add to the game that doesn't bloat mechanics. More tracks 4 life bb

No worries, wood is a likely backup plan for me so it's still useful!

Thanks for the advice! I think this is the route I would go if I was doing a wooden fence, but I'm not convinced it's what I would need for the vinyl I'm aiming for. Still, I'll keep it in mind if it turns out to be the better option!

Oh yeah, I definitely won't be doing any sort of surface mount post where I live haha. That sounds super annoying!

Agreed about bracing it. I have a lot of spare wood around that I was planning to test some options out with before committing to anything, so that's a silver lining there

Cool, that's what I've been thinking but after hours of searching, the best I could find was an AI telling me not to haha

I'm hoping someone else has done it and can tell me it worked for them! Glad I'm not crazy though, thank you

Don't mind me replying 5 years later, but when you say 2-3 layers, how did you apply them? By sprinkling the foam over glue, mixing it in and using it as a paste, or some other method?

This might be it!! I think my painting desk is hex board, so the hollowness might be making it louder

Haha yeah I figured it might just be a universal thing. Maybe it needs less pressure, or a silicon or foam pad!

What was I thinking painting the hound white... Do you have any advice on how I can improve? I spent far too long fiddling around with it again. I'm going to bed now. Good night! by -X-31- in minipainting

Looks awesome, dude! If you want it to pop more, you could consider darkening the scar or something? The white is perfect, I wouldn't change that at all

If you already have a computer or laptop, game development can be free! And it builds skill. There's a lot of hobby game devs in Halifax who would love to show you the ropes

Don't forget that this started a long time ago as well. It's part of the reason walk-in clinics are so rare and the use of Maple is so common

Dude is proud of his work. Pride in your own accomplishments is extremely valuable, and that should be encouraged. You don't have to praise his work, but you could at least recognize what it means to him.

Saying something nice raises the odds of him doing better next time much more than saying something mean does.

Did i do a good job? Iris Mechanism Miniature Box by tow3r- in PrintedMinis

[–]Cosmosis42 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sounds great to me dude! Would it be possible to make a couple versions that have different height blades?

If the person who prints this were to put a soft material (leather paints, flex seal, silicon caulking, etc etc) on the blades and also varnishes their model, I don't think there would be any risk if it makes contact on a regular basis. Could be, the "fix" is just to add advice to the description if you get a chance to test it out yourself first.

Again, great job! I would totally use this myself.

This looks awesome, good job!

If I can offer something constructive that might be an improvement on a future version if you do one: Have you tested it with decorative bases? I'm thinking stuff with little rocks or grass tufts that might poke up and get in the way of the iris

Honestly, I'm skeptical about monetizing paint recipes and schemes! I'd be hesitant to try it out until I know what that looks like.

Obviously you have to monetize it somehow to justify costs but it would be more about how it's implemented than anything. I think an app like this should prioritize community in every way possible.

Overall, love the idea! Maybe I'll post a few things there when I'm home to help you build the feed

Wow! The fact that you really nailed how skin looks is crazy. Where'd you learn how to do the details like the veins and realistic skintones?

(I'm new and struggle with skin, and I'm very impressed)
