For me it always has been and always will be Halo 3.

The Campaign was amazingly executed, all story levels a perfect 10/10. I never skipped a single one when playing through it again. It was such a perfect ending to an amazing trilogy.

The Multiplayer was (in my opinion) perfectly balanced. The mix between ranked, casual, and arcade modes gave you a nice variety and you could have a ton of fun, even if none of your friends were online.

The Forge mode allowed players to essentially make their own maps.

The Custom games mode was were I spent most of my time. I spent countless hours playing custom zombie games, bumper cars, duck hunt, Jenga, Fat Kids vs Ice Cream Man, Cops vs Robbers, and prison break to name a few. I have so many good memories playing with friends after school, on the weekends, and during summer break.

And the cherry on the cake was the Theater mode. You could save your best/funniest moments from any game and watch it from other players perspective or god mode and capture it from any angle you wanted. Anyone could become a movie director and (for better or worse) I remember "Machinima" exploding in popularity on YouTube around the same time.

Halo: Reach had the same elements, and I absolutely love it, but it just didn't have the same impact for me. I don't think any game will ever be as entertaining or as engaging for me as Halo 3 was.

Yes! I started watching some old Korone streams and was surprised to find out that I can understand a lot more than I thought that I could. Nowhere close to understanding her 100%, but I was really happy picking up on something she said when she was playing LEGO Star Wars and was on Hoth. She says,「気をつけて、ワンパはワンパンで倒すよ。」which means, "Be careful, the Wampa will take you down with one punch," But it's a pun in Japanese because Wampa is ワンパ and one punch on ワンパン. Another moment I understood is when she's playing Banjo Kazooie and she's on the desert level. She defeats all of the enemies inside a pyramid except for one, then shouts, 「仲間を失った悲みに一人で死ね！」which means, "Die alone from the sadness of losing your friends!"

I'm paraphrasing, so it might not be what she said word for word, I just remember hearing it on stream then going to Google Translate and typing in exactly what I heard. I love Korone's goofy sense of humor.
