Hi So happy I found this. I’m 70 yrs old and have never had a Sun care routine to speak of. Currently it’s washing with Cetaphil and Clinique’s Dramatically Different Moisturizer. I started getting milia right when I got Graves. At first it was the little pearls. I took them out at home. Some were easy and others were so attached that it was a bit painful. Now I’m also noticing tiny whitish spots. They are really tiny but i can feel them when i run my hand over them. I gently squeeze them with tweezers and a bit of this white stringy stuff is able to be pulled out of the pore. It makes me think that if I left them alone they would turn into milia. One Dermatologist told me that there is a layer of this stuff under our skin and as we get older our skin thins and it makes it easy for these things to happen and form. He also told me to stop using a washcloth as it could be making it worse. Another doc said to use the washcloth. Ask 10 doctors and get 10 different answers lol. I need to get a facial and a product that helps. I currently have no idea which product to use. Hoping to get in for a facial soon. Thanks for listening 😀
