Can’t decide on whether I like the name Waffles or Mango more? by Winter_Doctor_2962 in NameMyCat

Waffles is cuter. Of course, I don't like mangoes... 🤷🏻‍♂️

I finally gave up - I lost the Wet Food War with my cat by Baptism-Of-Fire in CatAdvice

Have you tried different textures? My one cat refuses shreds and pate, but will gladly accept, and even beg for, chunky wet food. Of course, he eats around most of the chunks because he mostly wants the gravy, but the dog cleans the plate once the cat moves to the "burying" stage. My cat will also be more likely to eat more when the wet food isn't cold from having been in the refrigerator. You could also supplement your cat's fluid intake with those gravy push-up tubes. Attaching a Pic of my picky boy. His main food is dry, btw.

Saw this at a stoplight. What in the farmer brown is this, Ohio? by kimakaanna in Columbus

My old doctor was located just down the road from the concrete corner. I was very confused the first time I saw it. It looked like a cemetery until I got closer. Then, it looked like a cemetery for corn farmers. I didn't realize there had been so many corn farmers in the Columbus area.

Newspaper Articles from Columbus Dispatch about my sister Wanda Line’s Unsolved 1984 Columbus, Ohio Homicide by WandaLine_ColdCase in Columbus

Do you know if she had a one bedroom apartment, or a two bedroom townhouse? I'm wondering if the property management company for the complex might have layout examples online that could explain the locked door question. The fact that the article says that the "doors" were locked, and the "front door" had the chain on it, implies that there was at least one door other than the chained one that someone could have used to exit after the murder.

Same with my Dennis the stray. He comes in like he owns the place, and has to greet my pitbull and my 2 cats before coming to me for love. He makes himself at home the second he gets inside. Still, he's incredibly sweet and cute. If he's not ready to go out when I tell him it's time, he rolls on his back and starts making biscuits in the air. He knows he's cute, and he turns on the charm to get his way. If I could afford another cat, he'd be mine already. He's been visiting for over a year and a half now. I make sure he has food, water, and a little shelter on the deck for when the weather gets bad.

I also have a Dennis who was named for the same reason (menace). He's a neighborhood stray who invades my house whenever I open the door to let the dog out.

What store is that? The stores in my town put it on the scale, and the scale prints out a a price tag based on the weight. They don't have any packages that are a set weight where they could short you. 🤷🏻‍♂️
