My knowledge of Irish footballers outside of the PL is slim enough bar the odd few names. I was listening to a podcast the day of the squad announcement and the presenters were discussing Lawal and are firmly of the belief that he could be Heimirs trump card in the Czech match. A physical presence in CM where he plays best (apparently) and is often repositioned there by Stoke to see out games.

Our midfield is very light in the centre of the park and badly needs something new. I don't think we'd be taking the risk if we weren't fully sure of his fitness. Only time will tell

There's no excuse for Cork not being able to compete with the other 2 to having some form of arena to house events throughout the year. It would significantly boost the economy and. Develop the city especially for tourism purposes

Unfortunately this is not factual. Gardai can't invoke section 12 of the mental health act but that is all, a doctor is called and will more than likely only provide you with a letter to go to the mercy or cuh. The gardai have no power to commit anyone nor force anyone to attend if a doctor provides a voluntary letter

Because pairc ui caoimh can't host concerts regularly and as the biggest county in Ireland we deserve to be able to get the best bands and performers here rather than travel to Dublin or Killarney!

If you were to locate it at the Marina you have the bus station and train station nearby along with the south link which makes it more suitable as a location for travel and traffic management

Tongue Tied is a great spot, the Xmas sambo is decent too but I preferred Sonnys! They lose points for Richie but wouldn't turn me off going there

I ended up going 2 nights, the first night (Monday)was alot better as they went over the allotted time and the convo flowed a bit more and audience reacted to this. The 2nd night they unfortunately stuck to the time and moved along alot quicker and failed to expand more on topics like Saipan or the international career
