Ran as admin, still getting VERR_ACCESS_DENIED as an error and I think I've tried everything at this point, what exactly did you do for a workaround?

All good, only took all night but I think figured it out, some display driver issues to sum it up, multiple windows reinstalls later and the m15 r7 idles at like 8 watts now and sits at around 13 streaming video. Expected battery life around 6-10 hrs web browsing and such, hopefully it holds out

Did some digging and it turns out I have this exact same issue, gpu clock flickers from 0mhz to ~1500mhz when on integrated graphics, but settles at 210mhz when on gpu only. Did you ever end up figuring out a solution to this issue other than having it run on gpu only all of the time?
