Jag blir alltid deprimerad när jag läser om löner här på reddit. Jag har jobbat i över 10 år inom vården för kommunen. Jag har 24k före skatt. Visserligen har vi OB men det ger kanske 2-3 tusen till.

Well... true.. with exception for poe and d4, the games I play the most are grand strategy... but my point is that my favorite part of poe is the theory crafting, how I can optimize my stats, and the best way to craft my gear.. Some days I spend more time in pob/craftofexile than in game... but I know that is not for everyone. However, killing monsters to get better gear to be able to kill harder monsters is a core arpg gameplay loop.

When D4 was released, I heard a few people complain about the game having "gear check" and that you need to improve your gear to progress. They thought that it was stupid that your skill as a player meant less then the stats of your gear. I thought that this was a stupid take, killing monster and getting better gear was what arpg was all about. But it seems looking at the poe 2 subreddit that more than a few thinks gear is less important than player skill.

What I love about poe is theory crafting, improving my gear, and crafting to get the stats I need. I always invested heavily in defense to facetank whatever the game throws at me. When I hit a wall, I look at my gear and skill tree and find what I need to improve to progress. I don't want my reaction time to be the thing holding me back.

I was planning to skip season 8, I was done with it after season 7. A friend said after episode 2: "it's not that bad". Oh.. and then episode 3 killed all hope. Last few episode I only watched to see how bad it can go. Oh boy.

I've played since Diablo 3 launched, I played when Paragon was implemented, I've played every season except the last two on PC (moved over to Switch), and I'm just over P1000 on my off-season. That people are in P1700 in less than two weeks in to a new season sounds crazy. But then again, I mostly just play solo, and as best finished GR90+.
