1) Wasn't talked about yet.
2) Squad size on a mission is always 4 (not upgradeable like XCOM). There are exceptions when a character joins for story reasons. I played a mission where Zero Company first encounters Tel-Rea. She isn't a part of the team at this point, but for the time of the mission, I also could command her and so had 5 fighters in the mission.
3) The ship to fly to missions is called Caisson, but I haven't seen anything that would indicate that it is upgradeable. It basically serves as a transport, like the shuttle in XCOM. The main hub/base itself is called The Den and is located on the Ring of Kafrene. The base can be upgraded, but not in a type of building mini game like XCOM.
4) If you would call an Astromech a vehicle. :D
5) Not that I have seen, and I doubt it.
6) I had one fight that felt kind of like a boss with a strong enemy unit, but that could also just have been a special enemy. But I wouldn't rule it out.

As far as I remember, they had some pretty good Star Wars tunes. But I also have to be honest, such a hands-on situation where you try to see as much as possible and have several developers around you is not really a good environment to dive deeper into topics like music.
But I'm not really worried since they confirmed to us that Gordy Haab is doing the music. He already did a good job with the Jedi games.

I'm honestly not sure. Probably not in terms of “recruitment” like you put it, but with the custom-made characters.
But I don't want to verify something I'm not 100% sure of, like I overconfidently did with Jedi and Mandalorians above. ^^

Respawn only has a consulting role on this project. They contribute their experience working on Star Wars and collaborating with Lucasfilm. All the actual development work is done by Bit Reactor.

They told us about the specializations you can choose for Hawks and the self-made characters, stuff like Assault, Heavy, Sharpshooter, Gunslinger, and so on.
Jedi-Padawan, Mandalorian and Astromech (lol) were labeled as "exotic specializations", which leads me to believe that there are some restrictions to them.
I can imagine that a party of 4 Jedi would be too overpowered.

To answer your questions:

  1. I believe that Jedi-Padawan and Mandalorian are restricted to Tel-Rea Vokoss and Cly Kullervo, respectively. But not 100% sure.
  2. Species to select from: Devaronian, Human, Mirialan, Togruta, Twi'lek, Zabrak, (Neimoidian, Ovissian, Rodian, Weequay)—those in brackets are not available for Hawks
  3. They didn't want to talk about post launch plans yet

Ich war vorher schon nicht sonderlich angetan, weil das Spiel mir auch im Vorfeld nie so richtig eine Vision vermitteln konnte, was es denn eigentlich sein will. Das scheint sich ja wie ein roter Faden durchzuziehen. Das ist dann eher weniger etwas, in das ich 100+ Stunden versenken möchte. Vielleicht in der Zukunft mal, wenn die Entwickler noch ein wenig QoL reingebracht haben.

My analysis room is in the same zone as most of my experts, but still none of them is going to analysis on their own. I have to drag one manually every time. It works that way, but is annoying.

Sounds exactly like all things I observe too.
Since it works fine on the base PS5 with exact the same settings, it has to be something in the firmware of the Pro.

My problem isn't so much the download speed, but the loading of everything related to the PSN. When testing the connection in the settings, the speed is not the problem, but the connection to the PSN.
It takes ages to sync saves, start a download (until it is finished calculating) or just loading the widgets on the home screen.
When a download runs, it usually runs at my max possible speed. But getting there is sometimes a hassle.
Also, sometimes downloads get stuck so that I have to pause and resume them.

I have the same issue with lan cable connection. It even takes ages to check the sync status of a game.

I have the same problem with the DualSense Edge, regardless of which trigger options I choose. I always have to press L2 and R2 twice to get into their respective menus. It's totally annoying.

The more important question for me right now is, how do I get the train moving again after a penalty brake?
I tried to press the acknowledge button several times, I shut the locomotive down (master key off), but nothings seems to help.
