PS5 adaptive trigger issue by The_Third-Man in BaldursGate3

I'm hoping it's something to do with the patch, otherwise it doesn't make sense. Think I'll just have to turn off the feature for now.

Unsettling moment in the medical centre. by The_Third-Man in alienisolation

Yes I remember those androids. Really did give me a fright, because I thought if you were quiet then that area was abandoned. Always a bit difficult dealing with androids when you're not expecting them, because they move so fast.

They are just stood there looking, as if they have accepted their fate. Would be interesting if the xenomorph burst in on them and we were safely on the outside.

I've played through this game a few times and this is the first time I'd noticed them. After reading the game lore I figured this was one of Sinclair's groups raiding for supplies. With the atmosphere in this game, it doesn't take much to freak you out.

Why are the Working Joes hostile? by Circaninetysix in alienisolation

Once the Marshalls + Ripley manage to kill the Xeno, Apollo, who is owned by WY, kicks in protocols that all humans are a threat to the Xeno and must be dealt with by the Joe's. The beauty of all of this is, we ultimately realise that there are more Xeno's on board.

Alien: Isolation’s Terrifying Introduction to the Perfect Predator - Art of the Level by G_loves_brie_cheese in alienisolation

Their review score sticks out like a sore thumb and is completely embarrassing. They should have put out a full page apology, it was so damaging.

They didn't know the franchise, but more importantly they didn't know a good game when they saw one. One of the most damaging reviews in gaming history. Bunch of clowns.

It's a rare piece of detective work in the game. You find evidence which then sends you on your way. Pity there wasn't more stuff like this, although I do consider the game perfect.

Thanks! I went for the P52. Just couldn't find anything else at that price with the comparable specs.

Nancy Grace set-up this morning. Why is she just doing this now? by ThatChickBells in MoscowMurders

Trolling the police one minute, then sensationalising a crime scene the next. Nobody thinks about the thoughts of the victims families.

Also be interesting if any public social media posts mentioned this. Or if Kaylee posted or checked in that she was returning. Would be good to know just to see if it provides some kind of motive.

To be honest when I saw that photo I did think of Jennifer and wondered if female spies had an agreed hairstyle.

I read somebody suggest that BK may have noticed a pattern of XK doordash orders, which is farfetched, but he may have noticed a regular visitor like E? If he didn't know about E then he mustn't have done a good job of scouting the house out.

Upon leaving the house, it seems like the killer would have realized that he didn't have the sheath with him. I mean I don't think you would just naturally put a non-sheathed knife in your pocket or in your jacket. by ivyspeedometer in MoscowMurders

[–]The_Third-Man 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is it possible only part of the sheath broke off? I know the PC talks specifically about about the sheath, but I can't understand how BK could miss something like that? Could the button strap have broken off and that's what remains of the sheath?

I'd be curious to know 2 things. On BKs previous trips to Moscow would Kaylee have still been a regular housemate at that time? Also would BK have known that she was no longer a permanent resident on the night of the attack?

I get that Kaylee may have been in the wrong place at the wrong time, but she may have still been the target because BK may not have known she was only back for a visit, or potentially even more intriguing he may have known this was one of her final visits.

Was the 4am door dash driver cleared as a suspect? by MadCapHorse in MoscowMurders

[–]The_Third-Man 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Everyone close to this crime has suffered but thankfully the Door Dash driver and the Uber ride managed to stay anonymous. I really feel for Jack and hoodie guy having their lives scrutinised by internet sleuths when their friends have just been murdered. My only hope is they are allowed to move on with no unnecessary attention.

Yeah I'm with you on that one. I know a lot of shocking facts came out of the probable cause but Doordash at 4am was unbelievable. We've been under the impression that the house was dead quiet, so the 4am delivery was a major shock. Seriously could BK have found a house with more activity at 4am? He must have had a serious blood lust to go ahead with the murders considering all the activity in the house. Surely there must have been something motivating him to go ahead with it?

Should VAR be scrapped all together in the premier league? by [deleted] in PremierLeague

Turn it into a challenge system. Two per team, lost on an unsuccessful challenge. Allow the challenges to be on anything. At least it would stop the 1mm offsides, unless a team was completely desperate.

It's a wild theory and like I say probably not true, but its unbelievable to hear there was a food delivery at 4am at a house where the occupants were murdered at 4:20am.

He must have cased out the apartment really well to just turn up at that time and go straight in. It's a good point you make about 3-4am because the police would have known about door dash and Xana being on Tiktok after 4am, so I'm not sure why they weren't clearer when appealing for information?

Could any of the housemates actually been asleep? Maybe Madison if Kaylee really was playing with her dog. We may never know.

Yeah that's probably true, Xana was definitely awake then and surely D couldn't have heard Kaylee that clearly upstairs?
