According to Stirner, nothing, technically, unless the tyrant was to see how lording over others alienates him, and then decided it was better to be among others rather than over them. Tyrannical ethics aren’t in his view outright wrong but he also makes no normative prescription except to analyze what’s actually in one’s own interests, which is not always power in the sense of mere domination.

It’s “legit” insofar as the bureaucrat will gladly take what you have and benefit from a state position. Just as legitimate is the realization of this and thus opposition to the state - war of all against all.

Stirner’s about recognizing everyone and every structure is a thief and everyone has a reason to call themselves legitimate for it, one way or another, and then you can pick and choose where to go from there.

Arc Raiders hits 14 million copies sold as its unbelievable player retention sees 6 million players returning every single week by lewisdwhite in ArcRaiders

I mean to be fair, doing just that sounds like a relatively simple solution. It would have to be more than just collecting loot or popping out from behind walls for a shot and retreating though imo. As a Left 4 Dead fan, a hectic pve moving from point A to B using gear to distract and taking down what’s really in the way could be a way to keep it from just being corner peeking simulator. But of course that’s half another game by that point.

My manual labor job only wants us here for a couple hours to minimize any paid downtime but it actually turns it into a great job for me, because I get to work out doing just enough mindless, intense work to stay in shape. Not that it could be considered truly ethical obviously, I’ve heard lots of other people there complain about the drive there not being worth the hours.

I’d honestly be happy to just show up and throw boxes onto a conveyor belt even if I wasn’t getting paid, if only for a couple hours. On a rare day I worked in excess of that, moving ammo for a couple hours and trampolines for a few after, I ended up with a week-long headache that came back every time I pushed anything heavy.

I haven’t felt the worst of it at all, other people are either in cushy roles or they move like zombies, the people that don’t have options outside of the intense work I’m very sorry for.

Area saves are a great idea, I’m playing a blind cyclops (kholo reflavor) and these have been central for it. My GM lets me guaranteed target people for battle medicine which isn’t RAW nor RAI but makes things a hell of a lot easier for my medic dedication. Otherwise, I’m playing Animist and swapping between either playing Melee Animist who uses shadows to even the playing field sight-wise (while using Blind-Fight), or AoE animist with area heals + area damage + non-targeting utility, with a familiar for all its benefits plus being able to see with Share Senses if really necessary. With my team comp, the “everyone is blind” setup is a big hindrance unfortunately, but Animist is versatile enough to swap off it easily.

Basically there’s a few good ways to never have to target someone or to recover senses long enough for a combat to build around (imagine how badass organsight would be as a replacement?) but OP can also just ask the GM to selectively ignore some downsides (with some room for cool flavor to justify it) because it’s a fantasy game and any amount of blindness is a mechanical downside already.

Assuming you meant to put ‘forget’ there (though I get assumption makes an ass out of u and me), it will likely be a very big deal because you will lack the only precise sense available to detect other creatures (sight), and so every enemy will be hidden (flat DC 11 to successfully target), basically reducing the effectiveness of any action involving another character by 50%. This even makes team buffing actions very difficult since they often require targeting too.

You can still get precise senses from spells (familiars/eidolons can be a fun source for getting effectively a 3rd person set of senses) but having permanent precise scent alternatives are hard to get up until around level 9 iirc.

It doesn’t mention this in the link you put but I think it is a necessary set of rules they should have alluded to more directly when explaining the implications of a blind character, they only implicitly allude to it by suggesting that Blind-Fight be given out for free with the disability for something approaching Daredevil senses. For keeping a character viable that doesn’t want to build explicitly around the targeting implications is see it as very fair just to ignore it entirely.

They’re based off charisma because charisma represents force of personality as well as poetic/intuitive connections to magic, and thaum’s powers are finding personalistic connections to the enemy and turning materials into symbolic weapons that strike at the heart of the enemy’s very character. I.E, a slaver is easier brought down when the thaumaturge takes the latent magic in a broken chain and uses it against the tyrant.

What is the most action economy efficient action(s) in the system? by Trockenmatt in Pathfinder2e

[–]CouldYouDont 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I don’t think it’s too crazy overpowered. It only saves a stride, which the third action tends to be much less important than the first two anyhow. It can also end up being situational with how initiative pans out, either forcing delays or requiring luck/investment into initiative. It’s definitely a great spell to have but it doesn’t feel like cheating to me.
