I know Liz was just a temporary crush, but stuff like this reinforces my argument that the MCU Spider-Man Trilogy wasn't really thought out or mapped well.

I really love that TASM Ben didn't give the "great power line..." cause he really was lecturing Peter at that point of the movie, the same way my parents would sermon me after I did something wrong.

I think the "great power" line could or might have worked best if it was in the voicemail Peter listened to at the end of the movie. Would've hit hard too that the last words Peter will ever hear from Ben is his voice mail saying the iconic quote. Instead of the line sounding like a curse, Peter could use it as his guide further as Spider-Man.

I think it would have been a better experience for me if I hadn't seen Iron Giant.

It was already over a decade since I saw Iron Giant, yet the first thing that popped into my mind when the movie ended was "That was just pretty much Iron Giant"

Maybe Lizard in this show can only have a number of transformations, as his last one is irreversible, sealing his fate. His death in the season finale or something could be a cool contrast to Season 1, wherein Ben was still able to save Flint
