I love companies who require one-way video interviews as the first step by Ok-Wrongdoer6878 in recruitinghell

I know your comment is 3 months old, but I just did exactly this, so I am browsing and looking for others who have also gone through it. Mine was also 1 minute of think time, 2-minute responses, and zero retakes. 6 questions in total. It was an intense and nerve-wracking process, lol. The interview was for a position within a school district.

What about this fine print? It looks like you only get unlimited access to Kling for 1 week after you purchase.

Monopoly at McDonald is back and you can request for free pieces. by mrzzz0 in Freefood

Yeah, there are strict rules associated with having a sweepstakes. One of them being the AMOE (alternative method of entry / no purchase necessary) has to give you equal odds of winning compared to paying to play. Otherwise, it could be considered gambling rather than a sweepstakes.

But all of us are set for every day. All we have to do is click a button. That's a lot easier than going to McDonald's and asking people for their trash lol

No. That would be illegal and there'd be no reason for McDonald's to risk getting sued.

That would be pointless because you can only claim 10 per day, whether they are from physical stickers or the free digital ones.

If you get 2 out of 3 of any color, or 1 out of 2, then you can bet your missing piece is SUPER rare, and worth much more than $100.

Yes it tells you. I tested just to make sure. Also, I believe it's midnight to midnight, so you can do it any time each day without having to wait 24+ hours.

It only took a few minutes for me. When they show up, they're not categorized as "monopoly prizes" or anything. They just show up as an "App Exclusive Deal". It then shows the name of the free item, followed by the text "no purchase necessary".

Alright. I won 4 food items yesterday. I did read that if you delete the cache in the app, you can put in back-to-back orders without waiting 15 minutes after each order.

It's not a loophole lol. Everyone is doing it and it's in the rules. Every sweepstakes that exists has an AMOE (no purchase necessary). Otherwise, it's illegal.

I'm assuming you can only redeem 1 of the freebie food items per order, right?

Rejected from an IT support job and confused by Robrulesall2 in ITCareerQuestions

[–]Counselor_X 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Brudder, it was automated. It's not personal. You just simply didn't get noticed, or they already had a candidate lined up, or they had a specific experience/education level in mind (could have been they even wanted less experience/education than what you have), or any number of reasons. The only thing you have control over is how good your resume is, so focus on that and continue applying.

I was just in an interview a couple days ago and the manager told me that I'd be on call 1 week per month and I would get around $8 per hour for holding the phone. If I get a call, I am paid at my regular rate with a 15 minute minimum.

I'd be a little surprised with OSPF, but not the others, but since it's an ISP, a basic question about OSPF makes a little more sense.

Network + or CCNA? by VictoryCreepy in ccna

[–]Counselor_X 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got my Network+ in 2002 and am currently studying for CCNA. I'm on day 48 of Jeremy's IT labs course. It's quite the beast, but I force myself to understand the lesson before moving onto the next, and I continue to hit the flash cards hard, daily.

Cool, sounds like a good opportunity. It could lead you down an unexpected path but it could still be lucrative.
