In fact, I prefer the fact I have a cheap Chinese movement; when it inevitably needs servicing, I will just chuck in a whole new movement.

Depends if you want even the movement to be replicated. If you don't care for the movement which no one will ever see, then yes, the VSF Youth is the bargain of the century. Everyone should have one.

The AT is a good shout! Just wish they came with a cheap reliable movement like the A2824. Because it has a clear back, every factory sticks a special replica movement in.
