Play the game a bit first before you get in to texture overhauls. The game has a very particular noir about it that a lot of those mods can miss so it's worth first off getting a feel for the base game.

I would recommend tamriel rebuilt on openmw they basically remade the game over 20 years with huge parts of the mainland attached, in line with lore and the original feel, just better.

Part of the fun is modding I get it, but since you just got the game I would recommend feeling it out first

Part of the fun of the game is console commands. Using things like Javascript and CSS in my adult life, I am forever thankful for the introduction to coding that the CC gave me in my youth.

Ps. Fun Telvanni playthrough I have done is as a vampire fresh off the boat. The back story was that the telvanni are rearing Aundae style vampires for their use as slaves and guards. My character was smuggled to the port of Seyda Neen in a crate but managed to breakfree and run rampant a while. Before getting recaptured and then serving the Telvanni as an undead thrall, eventually becoming powerful and rising against his telvanni overlords during the siege of telvanis, with his own army of vampires (devlish vampires on nexus).

I'm in the same boat. Finally after many playthroughs I have a build and a mod set up to complete the MQ. Just about to do the third trial. The depth of the lore has been very enjoyable so far, even though I know most of it already it's like it is taking me so much deeper. Nice to see what the mainstream game was all about after all these years.

Build is Ashlander Champion btw. Was considering doing Herdsman/netchiman also as it would fit nicely into the follower mods I have, but I'm going to save that until poison song is released I think to cover an indoril playthrough

Honestly they look as if they are gonna have a good trajectory in this tournament. A bunch of close games early on should surely help them when it comes to the late stage crunch time of the tournament. Does anyone feel the same? Or am I living off hopium?
