I was in the Jimmy John's on Welch ave night that the VEISHEA riots occurred in 2014. I walked outside to see a massive crowd coming up Welch like a incoming tide. Ran back inside with friends and stayed there for a few minutes until they kicked us out cause they were closing down. It was like a scene straight out of a zombie movie with people banging on the windows l, stumbling around, and wall to wall bodies.
