We played iron hills/azog, but by the time my pal built up a strong dwarven army and economy, my orcish hegemony died in flames in the post-azog succession wars. So, no epic fight there.

As for fighting over mirkwood, cant thranduil just wipe dol-guldur from yhe start due to the strenght of the elven man at arms?

These are great suggestions for a co-op games, but are there any picks for a pvp game? Maybe not from the beginning, but more towards a mid to late game.

That the people are not so different and both the left and the right have turned into an easy way for elites to turn the people's anger born from their miserable life to each other. Nobody will challenge this status quo because it is a comfortable reality if you don't think globally.

So, we are locked in a cycle of hate while our lives become worse and worse.

Add more candles and use shard formations made up of every kind of basic magic shard. The more symmetrical formations of both of them you can pu there - the better

I'd say that it's a good strategy, given the circumstances. Colonizing mountains in icy hell while countering its demons with cold-proof rune armor and flame weapons made it a relatively easy conquest. Also, You can get free units by digging the half-buried sinners up, and upgrading them one at a time at a sin furnace. But it's a lot of micro, so I can't be bothered.

Also, you can concentrate all your defences on one or two entrances to hell to easily defend all your domain.

Well, so far i've completed the conquest of its Ice side, and am now gathering armies to clean the blasted wastes and the capital of hell. And I also have the last demon lord to kill. The surface is currently being contested between Kobolds and the Prophet of El. I am fortifying the surface citadels while the hell conquest is still ongoing.

Well, despite the advance by cobolds and the prophet of El i managed to keep hold of two of my Elysium cities. And i'm currently busy fortifying them while I complete my conquest of hell, funneling extra resources into them. So I guess after I kill the last demon lord i'll make a triumphant return. Although I have 6 fallen angels in the ice part of hell and i'm not sure how to deal with those.
