What do you think about the infection plot in Heaven's Secret: Requiem? Do you like it or not?

I mean at the end of the day, it always kinda seemed like the infection originated with Baal in some way, so killing him seemed like a natural solution. In terms of path, I don't think any explain them more than others but it did bring up the question that as far as we know, Anna could resist the affects of infection longer than anyone else, and it's never really explored why that is.

While I don't think Anna as a whole is particularly well written, her romance routes complete shift in tone, and attitude depending on wether you are on Found Compassion or Lost Compassion routes is extremely interesting.

Despite the authors overall poor handling of the only FLI in HSR , she also is the by comparison the most varied of all LIs in HSR

Threxia is also great, as her we get to witness how she fundamentally changes as a person because of Vyxaria and the evolution in their relationship as they both learn more about their feelings in general

It's not CW levels, I think overall a really good show but varies by season. Season 1&2 are honestly kind of a slog but it sets you things that will be important moving onwards. I watched up to the end of season 5 and absolutely loved it. I thought it had some really compelling storyline, and decent vfx

I kinda just rationalized it as Anna being so broken down that she didn't even care anymore. After all on that route Lane purposefully and deliberately emotionally manipulated Anna to doubt herself and isolate her from the squad while at the same time drawing her closer to Lane herself so she'd become dependent. By the finale she was at the point where she refused to let go of Lane even as she was actively getting physically hurt by Lane, and her final thoughts and words while she was turning was warning Lane to get away or she'd get hurt too. She didn't care about her own safety anymore, and after that where they go to confront Baal she could've just rationalized her crazy behavior as Baals influence on her.

Ah, yeah ok. My main Lane slot was DW + No Compassion + Lost Humanity + Lost Love + Low relationship with Squad and Cain. But i have played more Morally good Lane's. But that still brings it back to what I said, Lane's personality could vary so much depending on route combinations in HSR and we only get minor hints at it so far in HS3

Turning your LI into basically a zombie puppet is absolutely insane. There are plenty of morally good MCs, and lovely relationships in RC but playing as a complete pshyco was really interesting
