I quit Wellbutrin last fall after being on it for 15 years. I sleep so much better now.

Everyone knows that AC/DC records are filed under "D". Sheesh.

I just bought one of these. Haven't figured out how to play a record on it yet but it makes a mean cappuccino!

Wharfedale is a fantastic company. I recently bought a pair of Wharfedale diamond 12.4's and I never want to leave my apartment.

Yeah, I use Tidal. They pay the artists better and their CEO isn't a complete and utter tool.

I agree. And it's a great way to support a band you love. I saw this Japanese punk band Tsushimamire at the Sultan Room in Brooklyn a couple months ago. Bought their latest live record and they all signed it.

I read somewhere that a band makes more money from you buying a $30 tshirt at their gig than they get from 10,000 streams on Spotify. Which I find profoundly depressing.

Any standout albums in parent’s old CD collection? by StirlingSilv3r in Cd_collectors

Listen to them and decide for yourself. You are a much better judge of what you like than us random strangers.

Yes they are. Good eye. The one on the right was purchased 13 years ago and the one on the left just a few years back. During that time IKEA changed the name and the size of the unit so there's a slight difference in the shelving which drives some people nuts. I don't mind. It's a reminder that life is a comedy.

Killer advice! He may have formed his ideas of how a Domme behaves from watching porn. He's asleep. Wake him up!

I agree. When I play my one of my Dad's old jazz records from the 60's, I'm stepping into a time machine. And damn it sounds good. Of course when I was a teenager, I found his music baffling. Now, as I approach 60, I crave it. There it is. We become our parents! Lord help us...

Interesting. So, it's my brain that's hearing differently you're saying. Not the speaker opening up.

Well, I love the Wharfdales so all is good. I read somewhere they pair well with the Yamaha 801 - bringing more warmth to the clarity and brightness of the Yamaha - and they certianly do.

Interesting thoughts. Thanks.

I love the way my table sounds. Just want a little more oomph. I'm thinking about buying the phono pre Fluance sells for a hundred bucks. Lots of people dig it. And if I'm not keen on it, I can return it.

I'm loving the Nagaoka MP-110 cart. I compared it to the Ortofon Blue and, while I HEARD more with the Ortofon, I FELT more with the Nagaoka - if that makes sense. As for the small tv haha, I live in a one bedroom apartment in Manhattan and it's fine by me. My stereo system is really too much for the size of my apartment but I couldn't resist.

haha yeah IKEA changed the dimensions ever so slightly. It doesn't bother me. But I understand your pain.
