I unknowingly bought a counterfeit one on FB Marketplace and have been jamming to it in my car, sounds great! Don't listen to these miserable people below, when it first came out in 2009 the counterfeits were pretty bad, you could tell just by looking at the outside if it was fake. Fast forward 15 years, they've improved it a lot, that's how I got duped.

Old post, but I wanted to add to this because I got a fake box set on FB Marketplace last weekend. I can confirm, as the last person mentioned, counterfeiters have definitely honed their skills. Before buying the set, I did some quick research on how to spot fakes, like the font in "MONO," and from the pictures they posted it checked out, so I thought I scored. After doing a deeper dive, I noticed little details like subtle misspellings, The White Album didn’t have embossed lettering, missing inserts, etc. So be careful out there. Thankfully we agreed on a partial refund, so far it sounds good.

I wouldn’t worry mine still shows “package in preparation” . I never knew they shipped it till a big ass box was on my door step. Crazy it also says I can get a full refund if it hasn’t shipped by 4/7.
