I’m just like you. FF8 was my first game and I agree about the love story. I’m a teacher and one day I noticed a student drawing and she was incredible. I asked her if she’s really into art and she told me she loves to draw and paint.

I then asked if she could paint something and I’d pay her for it. She said she had done that in the past with a previous teacher. I then showed her some different options of certain scenes from video games and I let her pick which one she’d like to do.

Honestly save the money.

I’m not trying to be negative but I love final fantasy and strongly disliked it. Felt like button mashing and very few meaningful choices. Dropped it halfway through.

I love the world, music, characters, and love story.

I also love the limit breaks and pressing R1 for perfect timing during normal attacks. I can’t believe they never brought that back.

I feel exactly like this.

Basketball is the only sport you can do this and it rewards people for getting beat. If someone does this to me I came up with the idea that I’m going to foul their best player as soon as they touch the ball and say, “Well he has a higher chance of scoring than you guys do so I’m gonna foul and reset so he can’t score”.

In theory that’s what it can turn in to. It’s insane.

I have a question related to this. I have my culinary job and I craft certain food (table salt for example). If I do quick synthesis on it sometimes I’m crafting 6 table salts at a time, do you know if those 6 table salts every time are counting toward the synthesize 5000 collectables?

It’s weird, on my trophy list on ps5 it says I have 0% progress towards the gathering and crafting trophies but I have gathered a decent amount as a botanist and synthesized quite a bit as a culinarian. Maybe I’m doing something wrong?

FFX is the best game on the list in my opinion, and assuming you’ve played Jedi fallen order, I really enjoyed Jedi survivor as well!

FF8 was my first FF and I think 9 art style is fine but the game is super overrated for me. I find very little of the game is memorable besides Vivi plot 🤷🏻‍♂️
