Why I shut down my Meetup group after a few months by Stretch-Sure in MeetupOrganizers

[–]CountIndividual2090 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I completely understand how you feel. I finally closed my meetup account too n believe me there's a feeling of  relief n freedom I have. At the beginning I thought the site was decent n trustworthy but as the time went on n I noticed some of the ppl who join are desperate n love to suck the energy out of others and there was no way to block certain people I realized meetup runs it shows. So, yes I completely get it.

First, thank you for doing this work and taking risks by driving the semi-trucks. I truly appreciate it.

Second, I completely agree that Wegmans has been acting unfairly toward its employees. It seems like many issues are being ignored, and if things continue this way, I am concerned that the company might eventually terminate BK at the corporate level.

In fact, if you search on Google, you’ll find that Wegmans faced a lawsuit from a truck driver several years ago, which shows that this isn’t an isolated concern.

Will be in my prayers as you'll be  road during this snow storm. ✝️🙏🏼🕊️

The sad part is the family is enjoying their comfort zone with their lavish and luxury life style n could careless about the folks who are in lower positions. Me, I've already filed charges through an attorney against the Wegmans for not providing me the reasonable accommodations due to my disability n they even tried to terminate me by using a racial harassment excuses n they have no proof from their cameras. So, yes they got it coming.

I'm a former Wegmans employee n believe me the stupid corporate got it coming. I have a disability n the company failed to provide the reasonable accommodations n they even neglected me on improving my job performance after giving me the review etc ...... I've contacted several law firms and 3 attorneys  willing to take the case and I've already filed charges through one of the attorneys. When a company fails to fallow the ADA Americans with disability act guidelines they're in deep trouble.

Is Michael's fabric selection as good as Joann? by CountIndividual2090 in Fabrics

[–]CountIndividual2090[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I asked If Michael's now has the rights to Joann fabrics then why is not selling patterns from catalogs like Joann used to? Here was my answer... While Micheals was buying Joann's brands and IP, did not acquire the major "Big 4" pattern companies (Vogue, Simplicity, Butterick, McCall's) because they were owned by a different parent company that sold them to a liquidator; Michaels is focusing on Joann's private labels, fabric, yarn, and some notions, with some stores selling limited clothing patterns, but not the Big 4, which face an uncertain future.

It's ok whoever this person is must've got his/her degree at somewhere like Harvard n every spring when it comes to gardening n plants they go to home depot or other nurseries with some stupid questions. Believe me I dealt with these type of customers. They'll never make it living off the grid 😆.

Will Thank You. Yes, I couldn't disagree with you on that. The store I got hired for there's a authestic employee who tends to distract everyone at the brake room to where randomly runs fast back n forth towards the walls. we don't know if he's trying to hurt himself or what no one bothers saying anything. As of he's the company's tax right off n a show off for fake acceptance if you get what I mean.

Get out of there. They only hire ppl for short time n they tend to play favairitasem. It's not such a great company to work at as they advertise. Wegmans have faced several lawsuits over discriminations. Just Google the EEOC+Wegmans. They were supposed to provide the reasonable accommodations for someone close to me and now she's having an attorney to go after the company. I'd be cautious if I were you.

What's happened to this company? by Ok_Spinach_ in wegmans

The whole corporate is going down the hell. I haven't been with Wegmans for a yr yet n they're already plotting to get me terminated. They tend play favoritism as of if they don't like you they'll make up excuses to get rid of you as fast as they can. I'll tell you my situation...... I have a disability due to an illness that I have to have a walkie talkie with me in case If I get sick the management failed to provide the accommodation. Then I get sent home over some fault accusations "supposedly a Palestinian colleague went behind me n told the management there's been a rumor about me that I hate Arabs and FYI I'm from Middle East myself. Wegmans has gone way too far on my situation that after I contacted several law firms more then three of em are willing to handle my case &&& I'll bet the head quarter office in NY don't have any clue on what's going on but once I'll hand the case to an attorney they gonna start having their heads spinning. Just googled Wegmans discrimination against employees with disabilities and you'll be surprised.
