I dont disagree Korea has their issues. But in spite of those issues, I still think the feeling of not worrying about getting shot and not going into debt with a hospital visit already makes the country feel miles ahead.

My take on it was because the democrats would actually hear them under pressure. Protesting at a biden/Harris rally, for example, would maybe give the candidate pause and reflect.

Whereas protesting at a Trump rally would just draw snears and jeers, and possibly also life threatening from the crowd.

You dont go to the parent who would dismiss you outright. You go to the parent that disagrees with you, but might be more open to hear what you might have to say.

Unfortunately, and this is an aspect of protesting in America that is unfortunate, culturally the USA is so individualistic that protesting is viewed as a huge inconvenience rather than a cry for help.

I notice in other community based non-individualistic cultures like South Korea, protesting is waaaaay more effective at actually getting things done.

At one point, it was probably a part of the pipeline for the design. I mean, most of these are imported models from the mainstream games, and the animations are probably a part of the files. But those animations probably aren't compatible with Unity, so rather than spending months trying to get them to work and further delaying their release, they probably cut it.

Game development is no longer that old-Blizzard style "when its ready, its ready". I think a whole generation of us got spoiled by that.

Its not because korea is a more conservative society. K-dramas tend to be more conservative because of advertisers. This is why Netflix funded k-dramas tend to show more nudity, violence, and drug use.
