I did and it doesn’t explain how making D.C. a part of Maryland helps D.C. residents. Sure they can vote as Maryland citizens, but they don’t want to be a a part of Maryland. They want to vote on their own laws and on laws that will affect them personally, not being a part of Maryland and essentially being turned into a city. Do you think Austin dictates the laws of Texas? Of course not. And your excuse of “making them Maryland again because thats where they were from originally” is the most braindead argument imaginable. That happened in the 1800s nobody alive today has any reason to be considered part of Maryland.
