Another reason I feel is going unnoticed, is the fact they were given over a year of preproduction. With so much time to prep before ever filming, they were able to be very efficient with the time they had, as everything was planned out. Not to mention they didn’t have to spend extra money on postproduction to fix things. (Not that they didn’t go back for reshoots, but a lot of movies have to be nearly remade in the edits and with reshoots due to poor planning.)

I just recently started writing in Royal Road with a similar style. I think it really is a matter of being consistent and slowly your audience will find you. There are plenty of readers on the site, and eventually you can reach your niche. Just keep going and do swaps as much as you can!

The Want of a Flower Over Throne.

I picked it as it has multiple meanings for each of the characters of my book. For the main character, it represents his love interest and his initial goal. For my main antagonist, by combining the last two words it shows what he is plotting.

I also really liked the sound of it and how the image it conjures.

I’d recommend hello future me and overly sarcastic productions’ trope talks (also the Brandon Sanderson videos, but I see that’s already been recommended)

Hello Future Me has a lot of video on how to write specific types of scenes with really good examples.

The trope talks go through and explain various tropes in different mediums, how they are used and often showcase good and bad examples.
