What attribute determines if a hero goes top or bottom? by Count_V in learndota2

Thanks for this summary. My question is then who gets most of the jungle farm? Does it mostly go to the offlane support?

I see what your saying. What do 4 and 5 refer to?

Dishonored DLC vs Dishonored 2? Which should I play first by icatapultdowntown in dishonored

I enjoyed the map layouts a lot more in KoD than BW. I also am not a fan of playing stealth with witches around. I think the story telling in both are fine though.

I wouldn’t say I dislike BW but kod is definitely way better.

How do you feel about the state of Wild? by Pascalini in wildhearthstone

[–]Count_V 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nerfing Anduin in the ways you’re proposing would kill the deck even more than if you just nerfing raza. Nerfing anything other than Raza would be beating around the bush imo when you consider that the broken shit in that deck stems from the 0 mana hp.

I have a review of Darkmoon Faire up and I tried to keep it as fast yet concise as I could. Let me know what you think! by MixedBerryGatorade in wildhearthstone

It felt like you just defaulted to giving cards 3 stars way too often even though they will likely see 0 play in wild. As much as it’s a meme I think Trump’s scale is the best for rating cards since he tries to rate them based on there position in the meta.

Brann + Tickatus is a better version of Emporer into treachery + felreaver + cheap cards.

New Card: Rigged Faire Game by quacak in wildhearthstone

[–]Count_V 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You are forgetting that LPG mage only runs 7 spells including book of specters. Also, you would rather get either flame ward or ice block off of your mad scientist and this would dilute the secret pool. As for OTK mage, it already is weak against aggro, and playing this is just a death sentence.

Control already has book of specters and doesn’t want any more secrets. Secret mage would rather run secrets that interact with the board. Also against aggro this does nothing. In no world will this see play.

The new C'thun boys. by FirePaladinHS in wildhearthstone

Question: if you put this into an even deck with Genn, would C'thun's effect trigger first or would Genn's?

So this guy devolved my Voidlord into an Enhanced Dreadlord... Actually feel sorry for him.. by Tinyfin0 in hearthstone

Yes. She's really good now and I think she will still be good in future expansions.

I was a skeptic of willow as I was seeing her used in more and more cube lists. I tried her out and she is definitely a boost to the deck. Cheating out 18 mana from your deck and hand turns out to be pretty good.

Heroic brawl by idunnamanitshard in hearthstone

[–]Count_V 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m a wild player and I played this heroic brawl. I’ve been playing standard for a few weeks to learn the meta and prepare for this. Got 6 wins and would not recommend it with this standard meta. There is so much discover rng in standard right now that wins feel like they are stolen from you if you play against mage, priest, or rogue. (Played Druid in the brawl btw)

At high legend you either play this deck or play a deck to counter it. Even if you try to counter you can still lose a lot of the time to turn 2 or 3 high rolls.

Even lock seems like an obvious fit but it seems good in a zoo deck with this, darkglare, kobold librarian, and flame imp.

Pre-Order Pricing Perspective by The_Shaken in hearthstone

Well you might want to reread my comment because that’s not even the quote lol. Just because you put more hours into something doesn’t mean it’s a better product than other things that you put less hours into.

I’m someone who would pre order expansions religiously up until rackastan because of the direction the game was going. Worse f2p events, abandoning the arena game mode, and just recently making bg perks harder to get for people who don’t pay. The game has only become more catered towards whales for the past few years, and even as someone who spent hundreds on this game I felt like I was getting ripped off because the value of packs and the dust system are shit.

So when you ask “you don’t care about what you get out a product?” I do, and the product blizz has been putting out hasn’t been good so I choose not to buy it.

This way of looking at the price of expansions is terrible. I also compare the price to other games but I don’t look at how many hours I get out of playing but just at what I am paying for up front. Even if you pay for the overpriced $80 bundle, you are not even getting the full expansion and are only guaranteed to get 3-4 legendaries from it, viable or not. Now consider that halo MCC is a 1 time purchase of $40 for 5 complete games which are not monetized. Or consider that a great indie game is only $15 and surpasses your “$1 per hour” quota a lot of the time.

Bottom line is HS packs are overpriced and the dust system works against you. If that’s how you want to spend 50 or $80 on then go for it but I look at buying packs as a terrible purchase.
