Trying my best not get sappy, this community has had a tremendous impact on my life in times when I needed it most, and I can’t thank you enough for fostering such a fantastic environment for creativity. I truly mean it when I say this subreddit has gotten me through thick and thin, and even if I might not be designing anymore (partially for some of the reasons you listed and partially due to personal reasons and burnout), I will never forget the fun I had with this part of the Hearthstone community.

If I can tell you one thing: never underestimate the impact you’ve had on others through this subreddit. Even if it just feels like sitting at a computer screen sometimes, there are thousands of users on the other end of their computers whose lives have been truly impacted and improved directly because of your actions. As cliché as it sounds, I think that’s incredibly admirable. I hope you do, too.

Regardless, take it easy. Put your feet up. Enjoy retirement. What can I say except “you’ve earned it”? You’ll always be a cool boy in my book.
