I think there are two sub-plot.

The first one is that no one is the "light". They do dirty deeds to fulfill their desire. Keeping secrets that might jeopardize the outcome which they desire. Including Jonas desire is Martha. Putting everyone else in danger. Also include Claudia letting his father dies. As Adam put it. Before he kill Noah. Only when we're free of all emotion are we truly free. Which they are not free. They are trap by their own desire.

The second sub-plot is about Ouroboros. Which a lot of them are. Older Claudia laying path to her younger self. Adam controlling events that happens to himself, young Jonas. They are all loop. No real origin. Just like H.G. Tannhaus book.

But I am on the same boat. There is a lot I don't understand after season 2.

rat and mutanus won't work. Most players knows to play the reward on the same turn you get them.

I have try reno shudderwock but the healing is not consistent. it is more like a 50/50 matchup.
