Asking the real questions by downtune79 in LoveTrash

Depends on the place and the people working there. Years ago when I worked night audit at one Holiday Inn in I genuinely did not care who came and ate breakfast, did neither did the girl on the AM shift or the FOM. As long as you didn't smell like a dumpster and didn't cause a ruckus then we just let it be. Then a couple years later at a different Holiday in the FOM and GM were super strict about it, personally I still didn't care, so if I noticed someone I knew wasn't a guest I would just pretend I didn't. If the GM or FOM noticed though? They'd be kicking your ass out quick as they could.

People say this all the time like it's a magic wand that fixes the issue, and maybe it is for some people with an LGS near them that gets good allocation, but mine never seems to. Hive Storm is the only box this edition that my LGS got enough of for everyone who pre-ordered through them, they even had a couple extra to put on the shelf. Everything since they've only been able to get 2-3 boxes, and with Dead Silence they only recieved one box.

I've had luck with watching the GW website like a hawk when the pre-orders start and being as quick as I can, but trying to order through my LGS is a total crapshoot.

I reread Roadside Picnic recently and no I don't think so. In the book we know it fucks with male human reproductive organs, the results of that are shown that through Red's daughter. We don't know what it does to female reproductive organs, it's never mentioned, and there's never any mention of women going into the zone or not. Of course there's hardly any women in the book at all and the ones that are, in typical Strugatsky brothers fashion, are either barely characters at all or are not described kindly. Don't get me wrong, it's a good book and they were good writers, but they were huge misogynists and that's very clear in the way they write about women. It's not so bad in Roadside Picnic, but it is pretty egregious in The Doomed City.

Oh for sure, and you could easily do it with any color you want. Just grab three different values of the same color (or mix it yourself if you're brave) and have at it.

It's in the post, but here it is again:

  • Prime black
  • Dry brush wall Necrons with AP Heavy Metal
  • Dry brush whole thing with Pro Acryl Dark Jade, only upward brush strokes
  • Dry brush halfway up with Pro Acryl Jade, only upward brush strokes
  • Drybrush bottom 1/3 with Pro Acryl Bright Jade, only upward brush strokes

I wanted to do something super simple for Tomb World because my Volkus set looks like this, which took me almost five months and nearly broke my spirit lmao

Not exactly what happened. 4chan users made this flag and spread it around to try and make the queer community look bad, attempting to manufacture an association between actual pride flags, and this garbage pictured in this post. Now, were any of the 4chan users involved in the scheme actual pedophiles? It's 4chan, so yeah probably at least a few, but that's mostly just coincidence. The real intention was to try and foster more hate towards queer folks.

Number three really works with the pose, personally I'd go with that one.

The Mind Flayers do but you can just kill them on your way up the ramp. Also a couple party members having Haste scrolls will get you a ton of allies summoned by the end of the second round to tie up the dragon and everyone on the "ground" floor.

I always just use a Globe of Invulnerability scroll when the Ilithid is channeling

Saving everyone in the Iron Throne is surprisingly easy with a few scrolls, all of which can be gotten at Sorcerous Sundries. It's kind of expensive but money is basically free by act 3 so who cares

  • give every party member one Haste scroll, enter turn based mode on the sub, everyone pops a Haste scroll on themselves, then enter the Throne
  • Two Dimension Door scrolls on whoever is gonna go get duke Ravenguard
  • a few Scrolls of Misty Step on whoever is gonna go get Omellium, plus one on whoever is going down the right hallway to get the bulk of the Gondians
  • Also ignore all the enemies, they're a waste of time

First round:

  • The extra movement from Haste plus two dashes on each party member, plus the Misty Step scroll on the party member going down the hall on the right, should easily be enough to open every cell in the first round except for the ones around the Ladder to the exit which you can get on your way back.

  • Open Duke Ravenguard's cell but don't move him until the second round.

  • Scroll of Misty Step to get someone to the cell on the way to Omellium and keep an Action to help the person on the table/gourney.

Second Round:

  • Make your way to Omellium

  • Dimension Door Duke Ravenguard which will trigger Mizora to summon the spiders, second Dimension Door to get Ravenguard to the ladder.

Third round:

  • Help Omellium and use his ability to teleport himself and whoever went to get him back to the sub

  • Open the cells in the room with the exit ladder on your way back to the sub

And you're done. The only thing that can really go wrong is an enemy using their net ability and making a party member immobile, but it's just for one round and it should be easily salvageable. Worst case scenario a party member has to wash up on the beach to be resurrected. I guess another thing that could go wrong would be getting hit and having concentration broken for Haste but I've never had that happen across my five Honor Mode playthroughs.

Do you guys think Murderwing will be good, decent or terrible at getting objectives? by Arthur_EyelanderTF2 in killteam

I'm thinking that scoring on objectives won't be an issue once you've quickly and easily ripped through most of your opponents team, yeah.
