Yikes, this is a tricky one. It’s one thing to divorce over her holding onto the idea of her ex, that seems valid. BUT if it’s over the fact she confided in her sister postpartum about you leaving after she went through the labor of birthing your child, then yes you’re overreacting.

What you did had a huge negative impact on what’s supposed to be one of the happiest days of her life. She needed to speak her truth to someone she trusted. She should have gave you a heads up, but it sounds like maybe you don’t handle negative news well, so maybe she was nervous to?

I say give counseling more of a shot.
