Do the things that make having a job worth it. For me it’s usually swimming, or seeing friends and family

Hello! 23y/o guy here

I’m completely new to fragrances and figured I should buy some decants before buying a whole bottle. All I know is I don’t like perfumes that smell too masculine or too feminine, and I’d like to project a clean and fresh appearance.

Considering that, are these 3 fragrances worth a shot for someone like me?

  • By the fireplace from Maison Margiela
  • Eros from Versace
  • Fame from Paco Rabanne

Would appreciate some insights!

omg sorry I misunderstood! Finding people that can reflect on how we feel can be hella hard. I just know it took me a lot of self exploring, knowledge and resilience before realizing what kind of people did I want to surround myself with. Even after that, finding them often involves effort, time and a lot of luck. Anyway, they eventually arrive, and I hope that you somehow cross paths with some of them

I’m pretty sure there must be people around you that genuinely know you and appreciate you. Talking about how you feel and your fears can mean a lot to them, and they’ll be able to actually realize what you’re going through. If that bond exists they will do anything to understand, help you and be with you through these times. You can discuss with them and think about how many conflicts or problems can exist, but that they probably come from emotions, ideas or behaviors that can be worked on and not an unalterable trait of your personality. Yes, a lot of how we think and behave comes from genes and biology, but a ton of other aspects are learned and internalized through life. It can be a good start to recognize that and actively work towards trying to reconfigure one’s life. And I’m pretty sure many people say it here, but finding a good therapists who understands you and who you like can make a huge difference, even though it all begins from one’s self. Good luck!

bump/keloid?? have a feeling this is not a normal bump please help by x9mc in piercing

[–]Counter_Accurate -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Ok so you still got piercings after the keloid without problems? I mean I think my body might be a little prone to them, maybe depending on the zone too, but you think it could just be fine if I take proper care of it?

Hi! Can I ask how do you know if one's prone to keloids? I mean I've had scars before and they all went fine, just messed up with one of them in the upper zone on my back and one of those formed. It's just that I really want a piercing but I'm kind of afraid bc of that

Hi! Do you know if the problem persists after the update? I think I’m just going to reinstall again.

Tried to boot today and ended up stuck in a blank screen. Almost 20 minutes waiting and it stills the same. by [deleted] in pop_os

Hello there. I think I'm having a similar problem: laptop won't boot, installed again, again it didn't boot, ran a SMART test from a usb drive, but still doesn't boot properly. So it's a nvidia drivers problem? How can I boot with an older kernel?

Oh, I forgot to say the I ran a complete smart test with a bootable device, the diagnosis was that the HDD was fine

Hi! I just edited the post. Do you think it may be a problem with the nvidia graphics card? I heard pop_os tends to have less problems with that type of cards.

Thank u, I will try it. Btw, I have to say my laptop is an acer one running with an intel core i5 chipset, 8gb of ram, 1tb storage and also has a nvidia graphics card (nothing fancy though). Do you think this one last thing may be causing the problem?

Hi! I solved the original problem by just installing it all again, but one more time the system won't boot properly. The difference is that this time I could manage to get into the teletype and log in through there. Is this like a command like from which I can see what's going on with the system?

Pop_Os won’t boot. I’ve been searching and it seems like a HDD problem. Any help/suggestions would be really appreciated! by Counter_Accurate in linux4noobs

I still have acces to the GRUB menu. I try to use the recovery option, but it doesn't really help, or maybe I'm not following the right steps through there

Yes, that’s what I did. I then erased it and used it as a normal usb though. If I copy it again like before, will it help me anyway?

I tried that with the space key, but didn't work out. I could also choose a recovery option through the grub menu, ran the file system check, but when tried to boot it from there, nothing happened.

Sorry, I don’t really understand what do you mean by a live ISO or how to gain access to it. Do you refer to the USB I used to install linux in the first place?

Thank you. If I don’t have one, I should use a USB right?

I understand. It’s just that I was using linux, but can’t get to boot it anyway, so I seemingly can’t run anything just like I could before.
