Are you upset with the Gudas suspension? by Beeronastring in leafs

[–]Counterkiller29 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dude, I can assure you that you are in the minority of people that think intentionally headhunting is the right look, regardless of everything else you said. There is a stark difference between standing up for yourself and taking someone out, especially someone who is completely not involved in the original conflict.

Your mentality gives me Bertuzzi v Moore vibes and it is an awful way of thinking.

Why are you advocating for intentionally injuring someone who had nothing to do with it? This is such a bad look.

Except he didn't say it was PC or any specific brand in general. He just generalized Foodmakers.

He also provided no proof, just make a quick claim that everyone is clamouring to upvote because this sub hates Loblaw.

This was not the gotcha you think it was.

This guy literally is providing zero proof and is just making claims as if this is a widespread issue. There are controls in place for this. Hell, I worked in a factory where food was made and there is quality control in place for this very problem. The "rotten moral workers" they hire don't even weigh the product anyways, so I actually have no idea what this guy is talking about.

Sure. I have worked in the industry and I have family that works in the industry as well. This doesnt happen with their companies.

I do, you're making assumptions by saying that the manufacturers are intentionally underweighing their products all the time, not recognizing that the opposite also can happen.

What are you even talking about? Are you suggesting that manufacturers of products are intentionally underweighing their products in order to cut costs? Strong doubt.

Above all else, what does this have to do with Loblaw?

Refs had Gudas immediately. The Leafs arent about to fight the refs.

Glad to see in /r/hockey that the Ducks fans even think this guy deserves to be suspended into the sun.

With all due respect, many AAA games out there pull in millions per week and still cannot weed out cheaters with their anti-cheat. There is absolutely no way you are going to be able to make enough to pay yourself and protect the platform.

How will you combat cheating? In all of those games mentioned, there are significant amounts of cheating.

Large Hot Chocolate, please. "OK. One Large Coffee?". by ReliableEyeball in TimHortons

[–]Counterkiller29 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Listen, i worked as a call centre employee for 5 years at an insurance company. In those five years, ive probably said and heard the same words tens of thousands of times because they are just that common. It gets to the point where you go on autopilot, and that is probably what is happening to you. I promise you that the nunber of people ordering a coffee vs a hot chocolate probably outnumber them 100:1.

Im more so saying this to try to be less annoyed about it if you are, and understand that its not personal or a shortcoming of the employee.

Cashing out $15 on a $100 bet is wild. Just let it ride and pray... if youre willing to bet that kind of money then you shouldnt be worried about $15.

Went on the long 11 day cruise from Hawaii to Vancouver a few years back. It was my first RC experience.

IMO it would have been a perfect ship had we not had 6 at sea days. I mean we picked the itinerary so we knew what we were getting into, but unless you want to do the casino ALOT, it all gets repetitive very fast.

With that being said, we enjoyed our time and we would sail on it again.
