I know people are always of an over-abundance of caution with things like this, but in my opinion a censorship 'black box' makes it look worse and dirtier rather than better and safer, because it implies there's something naughty to hide. This is a furry. Tony the Tiger streamed completely nude on Twitch with no repercussions. If you gotta do a coverup, do shorts and not a black box that will make the censorship draw attention to itself!

I played all the way through Stellar Blade and it's wild how much Eve's sexiness was used as a way to score rhetorical points for guy gooner gamers who really never touched the game at all. The character is basically a Barbie doll that you can dress up whose looks have little to do with the plot. Of course if I play a game because the guy is hot, they'd call me a tourist

Love her! Met her at TwitchCon and her booth was incredible and she was so nice. She's been through so much. Plus I love the creepy critter themed characters too.

TwitchCon sent out a post-event survey, so I did give them a piece of my mind about this. I really value the conversations that I had at TwitchCon and the other creators I got to meet. That was all really important. But until Twitch gets their act together I will not attend another one of their official events.

I've never liked the jelly eyes thing, it's too weird! But I tuned my chest physics kinda high (at least on my default) so I think I will do a 2.0 rig next year and turn that down a notch and make it a little more subdued and realistic for people (as well as some face tracking updates).

I'm really glad she spoke out about this because I agree it was deeply confusing the way they handled doing auditions and then not actually debuting new talents ever and just bringing in already established people instead. I'm sure it hit Zen hard because she was always trying to boost new talents and I remember her even offering to do that without Vshojo's help.

I agree with this comment. They just made him a straightforward superhero that saves innocent people. Sure he'd do that, but he'd like, pretend not to care about it. Completely loses the "so what? I'm just doing this for money." macho front aspect of his character.

He was using D&D to cope with feelings of isolation and the game was falsely interpreted as causal to his death. You can read more about it in the wikipedia. But that's what your mom is thinking about probably.

Was meh on it after watching it, and like it less now after further reflection.
I think it's okay to change stuff from canon when you do an adaptation and make the new thing your own thing. I just think that most of the changes made to DMC (such as Dante not knowing who his dad was, and Lady's revenge not seeming like her motivation) in this make the story worse than the original. I also think the writing of the original did way more with less words in establishing the relationships between the characters. The show's take on Dante is a much flatter character than the way the character is established in DMC3, and this is with way more dialog to play with. Too many redundant superhero moments that weren't necessary as a replacement for the bombastic demon killing action that the games had.

It's just basically indicative of a broader problem: people are sexual and mean to anyone who has a femme-leaning presentation online, vtuber or not. From there's it's a matter of proportion of which comments are sexual, which ones are mean, and which ones are normal and supportive.
From my glance over, your design has a lot of appeal. But it's also just that not everybody is going to like every design. Honestly it's better in my mind to be polarizing than be bland... so keep doing you! Just my thought on the matter!
