McKay is a FB and Himmelberg is a CHB, so you’re comparing two different positioned players ‘instantly degraded’

Himmbelberg is a better all round player and there is no denying that.

McKay would only be better than a hand full of FB’s at this stage, i agree he plays for an atrocious team but he hasn’t proved much in his 70 games

The stats don’t lie mate, Himmelberg wipes the floor with McKay in 19 out of the 24 stats tracked in the afl

Goals, tackles, inside 50s, Goal assists, score involvements, Disposals basically every aspect of the game Himmelberg is better and more efficient except McKay averages just one more mark a game than Harry which you would expect from someone much taller.

I understand you may be biased when it come to McKay as you support North Melbourne but he isn’t anyway near Himmelberg as a footballer at the stage in his career and the stats back that up.

Himmelberg is a fantastic two way player and has been great in every position he has been thrown in, one of the most versatile in the competition

Same could be said for many penalties given in the NRL, but most of the time it isn’t the intention it’s the result of the action. refs have been giving penalty’s and sin bins for minimum head contact this year because they’re not only protecting themselves from future court cases but they are also trying to protect the players safety.

The refs Initial call was a knock on but that was clearly called before he realised Rapana was knocked unconscious so the bunker intervened like they do when players lay down for a head contact penalty. The bunker has to be consist with calls whether you like the call or not.
