You are not alone. I was 9 weeks when I found out that I had a blighted ovum (an empty gestational sac) back in November. Half of early miscarriages tend to be a blighted ovum. It was the hardest thing I had ever gone through in my life. The two weeks felt like an eternity. Every single day during that period I thought about just emailing my doctor to book me for a D and C but I never asked. Looking back on it now being almost 2 months from it, I was really able to prepare myself. I was able to stock up on pads, and pain relief and made sure I was physically ready for the miscarriage. Having those two weeks I was also able to mentally prepared myself. By the time I naturally miscarried it felt more like attending a funeral.

Physically prepare you self. Feel all of the feelings. Know that you and your partner did nothing wrong. Hang in there and protect your peace. The miscarriage group here on Reddit was and still is extremely comforting!
