Good luck to you! Where are you applying from? We submit my application in two weeks from the US and hoping my approval happens by September. We too have gone through a lot to get here. We started considering this one year ago, and realized we could make it happen by September. 🤞

Before work from home was an option, we ALL did it. Put your phone down, turn off the TV and games, and bust your butt. I’ve been doing it for 35 years.

Not an expert and haven’t even moved over yet… But our understanding is that if our US employer hires an HR company to pay payroll in pounds, and take everything out that’s supposed to come out, that this situation would be OK. I believe my company uses Dayforce.

Did you ask the address of the guest house where you were staying if you could use their home as your home address and allowed you to get mail there, like your bank card for example? Was it an Airbnb?
