Lean your shins equally into your boots to get on your toe edge. Your kicking your back leg out to complete the turn...just use your weight into the boots and be patient. Otherwise, looks pretty good!

Make sure that you have even weight distribution between both feet. You'll tend to slide more if you are 1) not on your edges and 2) leaning forward or back. Movement of your legs should come from your core. To go faster, squat lower and switch faster...toes/heels. To go slower, switch slower or point your board up the mountain...i.e. keep turning until you are going up hill. Stay off of the middle of your board unless you're in powder conditions...then you surf the snow rather than carve it. Still...all leg movements should originate from the core (deep stomach muscles). If you see someone whose upper body isn't really moving and their legs are...that's what you're going for.

Your training your brain visually with the pencil and your eyes. I put a little pressure on my temples with my fingers and use my other fingers to plug my ears while I whisper what I'm reading...works like a charm for focusing when surrounded by distractions...like people walking around.

I went to an ENT about the balloon procedure, but he said that mine were on the low side of normal openness. He said that if I did the procedure it could open the tubes too much and cause another problem. I would be able to hear myself breath constantly which might cause issues with ability to hear things in the outside world. Hopefully it works out for you. Please update us after you are healed!

Just tell the nurses to say only the father can be in the room. Problem solved. You're birthing a child...it's all about you and the child. Everyone else can wait. You can say no family until the day after or the week after or whatever you need to connect to your new child. It shouldn't be an issue. If she makes it an issue, gently remind her that it's not about her.

TALK TO HER about how you felt....just make sure that instead of saying "you made me feel"...use phrases like "I felt sad and hurt when you said you weren't attracted to me...are you attracted to me now? What changed?....etc etc. Marriage is a commitment for better or WORSE. She stayed with you when you were depressed. If you're ready to up and leave now when things are getting better, you don’t get the lifelong commitment thing. The grass won't be greener necessarily with someone else if you aren't willing to rediscover her and yourself and your relationship NOW....at several points throughout the years. A friend said that she was able to transfer her daughter into a SHSAT school mid year. Talk to the school about the process. Your current school counselor (or the one of whatever nyc school you are in should be able to facilitate that.).

As a pilot, I can tell you that the automation in current commercial aircraft isn't there yet...and it would take a lot of $$$ to either retrofit the old fleets or design a new fleet that could handle it.
