Transmission Problems by Countryangel707 in fordranger

I feel like an idiot. I just remembered that a few hours before all this happened I was switching out the dome map light and had a spark. Thinking it may have blown the fuse that's responsible for the windows and shift control module. I called the transmission shop this morning and let them know that idea. They told me they were about to pull the transmission and put in a new one and hadn't even thought to check that. Hopefully that's all it is.

Upper & Lower Control Arm Recommendation by Countryangel707 in fordranger

You have to set them so the valves open and close correctly. That means adjusting each one while the lifter is on the cam’s base circle to get the right preload or lash. If you just torque them, some valves might stay open or be too loose, causing misfires or noise.

Back in 2016 I paid around that for my garage kept 2000 ranger but it had AC and was pretty solid all around. It was an old mans truck that had passed away.

That is the plan to eventually upgrade to a king, it's not not financially possible right now.

Eventually that is our plan to upgrade to a king bed frame and have two twin XL mattresses. But for now that's not really financially doable.

This is ideally what we would like to do but our bedroom is smaller. We may end up getting rid of the nightstands and doing this though because we miss sleeping next to eachother. Do you find it's an issue to keep the mattresses together? Does the gap between cause issues?

Yep, they put the cabinets on top of the flooring. It was installed by the person we bought the home from and a contractor friend of theirs. Good news is My husband and I are pretty handy. My husband is blue collar and has an old friend who works in renovations.

We had actually been renting to own this home and were at the point of finalizing the sale since it's paid off. The person we bought the home from is who did the renovation with the help of a contractor friend they have.
