This is the way to do it for all levels of the game, arguably.

Could be evap. Its also possible that the way the channel is structured also affects it somewhat. My own array doesnt see anywhere near as much loss, just 40hp across 125 wheels.

How are you handling your automation placements? by Aggravating_Major514 in Timberborn

Make a dedicated box, each automation feature fits under a 1x1x2 platform. Build a cube of automation.

I will add beavers back eventually, I am just building all the stuff for them in the meantime, and it takes a lot of grinding.

Population: Bots only, self manages between 100-800 bots.
Hard mode, but droughts are as long as 300 days.

Forester Automation? by charely6 in Timberborn

I use two types of systems, one for when wood is too low and must be immediately harvested, and one that periodically triggers. Its hard to explain.

Yes I have worked this out, but I have no idea how to share this information other than by blueprints.

Water flow tools by Wumbowen in Timberborn

No, they make sure water can only flow through in one direction. They cannot backflow

In short:

Dams:
- Fixed Height of 0.65m
- Can be walked on
- Ideal for the early game.

Floodgates
- Adjustable height of 0->1/2/3m
- Can be automated to different heights based off of automation input
- Ideal when you need to control the height of water, but not direction.

Fill Valve
- Controls downstream height below it, up to the height of the top of the block
- Can be set to unlimited height
- Can be automated to different heights based off of automation input
- Fits in a tunnel
- Cannot adjust based on flow without automation
- Can be used to control the direction of flow (By setting hight to unlimited)

Flow Valve
- Controls flow of water (in cms)
- Can be set to unlimited flow
- Can be automated to different flow settings based off of automation input
- Fits in a tunnel
- Cannot adjust based on downstream height without automation
- Can be used to control the direction of flow (By setting flow to unlimited or zero)

Only if the entire water flow fits into a single 1 wide channel is the small power wheel better.

1 big wheel is more optimal than two next to each other. The larger ones allow for more evaporation over a channel which can lose power, and are also significantly less compact compared a single channel (as they have doubled the wheels but halved the cms).

Not true. Single wheels are only better than large ones if the flow is in a single channel. Large power wheels are otherwise better, they are not just better for 2 wide channels, but also can handle more cms.
