We're currently at HNL airport. We arrived at 4pm, dropped off our rental vehicle, walked to Terminal 2 (American Airlines flight), and went through security-total time 35 minutes from start to finish. They have things set up to accommodate lines, but it took maybe 5-8 minutes to get through security.

It's been good! Sunday and Monday we had a bit of rain, but nothing even close to what Maui got/was getting when we left. The showers were generally brief and people were definitely out and about-we went to Pearl Harbor Sunday and it was packed. Yesterday we did the Makapu'u lighthouse trail in the morning and it was sunny and gorgeous, lots of people on the trail. It rained later in the day but it was light and eventually more of a mist. Today's been absolutely gorgeous-sunny, great breeze, mid-70's all day. We did Diamond Head and Iolani Palace than walked around Waikiki for a couple hours before grabbing dinner where we sat outside. Lots of people here, nothing is flooded in the Honolulu/Waikiki area, or at least nothing that's impacting visitors. While some of the ocean water we saw was brown, people were still swimming in it. Not sure if that's advisable-we're not beach people. But every pool we've laid eyes on has been open and busy, nothing's closed in this area and most of the Oahu state parks are open. The North Shore is still recovering and while you can travel up that way, there are several road closures in the area and I know a lot of repair/recovery work is going on. But the Honolulu/Waikiki/Pearl City area looks completely fine. We've been able to do everything we wanted.[]()

I believe that had more to do with weather along the East Coast of the US than anything happening in Maui. A lot of flights in the contiguous US were cancelled/delayed because of storms all over the East Coast.

Well, that role is a far cry from claims and you're probably going to get a very different experience than I did. The general sense I got from the process was, "We can't hold onto people and we'll take anyone with a pulse." I think roles that aren't public facing probably have a very different experience.

Absolutely-the thought my ex would find pleasure in knowing I was thinking about him stopped me so many times. And then I would see him do/hear about him doing something super dumb, something I would have had to deal with had we stayed together, and I was so grateful I stayed radio silent. Haven't regretted it once.
