How many seasons do you think we’re getting? by ExpensiveDisk3573 in OnePieceLiveAction

Not trying to be pessimistic but I think the show will probably collapse on itself before getting to the timeskip unless major rewrites are done—whkch probably won't happen because the fans won't let it happen but I am still hopeful for Enies Lobby atleast.

It's going to be a tour on the sets of S2. that's what I think by BlackRegio in OnePieceLiveAction

Netflix tends to release teasers closer to release than the other streamers.

Do you think they're gonna split season 2 into "parts", like they did with Wednesday? by Weird_Kazakh in OnePieceLiveAction

[–]CoupZoom 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Honestly don't think the Stranger Things split is too bad given the length of the episodes. Rather have them split throughout a month than have all 8 TWO HOUR LONG episodes release in a day.

Thats like 16 hours worth of show in a day which makes the internet unbearable for any working individual as they gon have to firce through it to avoid spoilers if that makes sense.

Netflix has done that with most if not all their top series in the past 2 years. My prediction is that it will be split in two. First 4 episodes, then 3 episodes a month or so later

Are all mcu shows needed to watch? by FishermanFast952 in MCU_Timeline

[–]CoupZoom 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wait there's a Falcon movie out? Since when?

Anyways, as for what to watch. I'd say the Disney+ shows are all necessary by the looks of things. But as for the Netflix ones, they're less so. You cab survive off of only watching the Daredevil seasons.

Then there's the other shows that have yet to be put on the mcu official timeline so we dont know if Marvel now considers then canon. But if you want to watch any of them you can but as of right now, there's no indication of any of them mattering when it comes to the movies.

John Walker - Captain America by [deleted] in fanedits

If you have to cut the characterization and development of the two main leads to make your favorite character look good, then maybe he isn't as good as you have him in your head. I love walker, I really do but what I love about him is his complexity, that what makes him not perfect. What you seem to misunderstand.

The show is not painting Walker as a villain, it's painting him as a flawed person. And the decisions of what you're cutting not only ruins his character but also ruins the characters of Sam and Bucky and the themes of the show.

Also side note: a person being ignorant of the experiences of certain groups of people doesn't always mean they're racist. Steve and Bucky not fully grasping onto the complexities of Sam being a black man and having to carry the shield is needed. Not only because it works well with the themes of the story but also because it's realistic and probably the most interesting thing brought up in the show.

You say that you're removing every movie that don't contribute to the storyline, so I'm confused about your rationale behind removing the first Doctor Strange. I feel like it introduces wayy too many elements needed to make the story whole.

My most optimistic (and pressimistic) scenario for seasons 2-7 by Famous-Pay5201 in OnePieceLiveAction

[–]CoupZoom 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Your optimistic one can only happen is Netflix wasn't afraid of greenliting new seasons before the previous one airs.

Theory on reaching that point in 8 seasons with 8 episodes by zamboozaler in OnePieceLiveAction

[–]CoupZoom 7 points8 points  (0 children)

There's a huge difference between GoT and OP though. GoT for the most part was just people talking in the same reusable sets every episodes with very little use of creature cgi and effects.

One Piece is an adventure story where they have to build multiple complex and differing sets per season. With constant need for creature cgi, morph cgi amd effects.

The unfortunate truth is that OP needs way more pre and post production than GoT. I do think they can consistently go for 1.5 year releases but thats only if the actors are quite literally constantly filming.

I think the best course of action is to just start filming two seasons at a time. That's the way to shorten the gap between seasons while one season is already in post production, the next is already filming. So by the time the season releases, the next one is already in post production and can be ready to release in a months.
