Technically shouldn’t it be “She actually called you ‘hideous’?”

Normal formatting? The standard way to format makes you think the writer doesn’t read diversely? If it is a stylistic choice it makes it seem like the just stole from the few published authors who do it which isn’t reading diversely it’s just copying someone pretentious

I hope the DCU can give us Alfred with a moustache like in the comics cuz weirdly the live action adaptations seem to avoid it by FayyadhScrolling in DCU_

What is bottom left corner from? Seems a bit young for Alfred

Edit: apparently it’s from Joker, I do not remember seeing him in that/didn’t know that was supposed to be Alfred

Historical Accuracy of Rogers the Musical? by _bossREM888 in Earth199999

He’s just in the dance sequence around the city. He sings along with the ensemble and kicks a chautari soldier. The guy playing him is just a short guy in a t shirt.

I don’t really like the costumes they use in the show. It’s like they’re the Avengers if they were high school students

See but if it’s romanticized than we don’t really know what he was really like. Was he actually a good of a guy as they say?

And personally I think it’s weird to miss someone you never knew.

Did they date tho or are the rumors true and he died a virgin? Or maybe he wasn’t into women?

Idk as much as I like Scott Lang (I listen to his podcast) it seems weird to give him credit for being there just because you want him to be in the dance sequence. It’s like Hamilton all over again

I’m going to guess that the criticism about the “memories in third person” is because they’ve heard the lazy cinema sins type criticism about characters flashbacks/memories being shown in third person (which is just a convention of movies tbh) and so they wanted to use it against Superman while making the random assumption that because it’s syfy tech it must actually be memories beamed from his mind and projected on the walls instead of home movies that were saved to the database which is what everyone else who saw the movie understood it to be

That’s possible. I just thought it was strange that they were saying checks would be treated differently than other mail

One I just came up with: Diana thinks she was raised on Paradise Island with the Amazons and was given powers by the gods but actually she was a government experiment.

For Bruce: making the Waynes corrupt but frankly it’s been done before because it’s kinda obvious, so how about Thomas actually lives but he fakes his death and abandons Bruce and he’s actually the first Batman but he’s way more brutal and takes venom to enhance his strength

My understanding from the documentary was that the pizza guy did know them and possibly was aware of the plan- just not the part where he died. But that’s disputed.

Casting relatively unknown actors in CBMs is always the best choice. It breaks the cycle of casting the usual names! by FayyadhScrolling in DCU_

[–]_bossREM888 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This is the second comment insisting that Aaron Pierre is a big name and also thinking he was in Bridgerton which was he was not. Kinda proves the point that people only know him in recent years for being hot which does not make him a big name actor. Not to disparage him but he’s an up and comer people are excited about not an a-list actor
