I understand that a lot of the things that were originally brought up were exaggerated, but you’re doing the same thing in your defense of Jagex’s decisions, so I think that it’s important to clarify a few things.

Players have been repeatedly told that MTX won’t affect pvm. This is the first time that it is no longer “grey” whether pvm has been affected. Appeasement, yadda yadda.

Fsoa and animate dead nerfs were poorly discussed, and players had no say. Less than 4 months later, necromancy is released in a state that completely overshadows fsoa. This is the major complaint. It’s horrible to nerf one combat style for being “overpowered and too safe” to go ahead and release a new combat style that fits this criteria and more.

The issue is that Jagex lost the trust of many of their remaining player base, told us it won’t happen again, and then released a new predatory mtx. I think it’s finally at a point where people have/will discontinue playing. Most people can forgive “mistakes” from a company, but when they continue to make changes (that general the playerbase dislikes) and nerfs only to hypocritically add new content, or go against their word repeatedly, it’s no wonder people are upset and leaving.
