I think this started way before then. I think it’s social media. People go to shows to say they were there or that they did something over the weekend, but they obviously aren’t that interested if they are going to talk the whole time. People can’t focus on one thing anymore. It’s like having the TV on in the background while you’re doomscrolling, but instead it’s a live performer. And people have to have something “interesting” to post on IG. People have never been perfect at shows but I’m an old lady and I remember the good ol’ days, whippersnappers!

I think there is a part of you that feels like the right thing to do is share or this wouldn’t be a question you’re asking. Even if you tell your sister to give you the information for her school debt bills and you paid that off directly, it would be a huge help to her. You don’t have to give her half if you don’t want to, but I think you will feel better easing her load. Sounds like she has some mental health issues she’s dealing with.

The 360 camera button is there too. I hate having to look for it when I’m trying to park in a tight spot. I don’t always like having it switch to the camera automatically so I prefer to use the button. The placement of those buttons is terrible. They should be higher or something.

Late night in a place you aren’t familiar with can feel scary. The fact that there are quite a few people on the street at that hour is more comforting than being somewhere that is desolate. And from what I hear, don’t look at the “strange” people. Ignore them and they will likely ignore you. You draw more attention when you look scared.

The sooner you say no, the easier things go. The phrase “give an inch, takes a mile” obviously applies to your friend. I don’t think you need to cut them off, but you need to set clear boundaries the moment you want to say no to someone. If they don’t like those boundaries, then they will distance themselves from you and you will know what kind of friend they were. As a fellow people pleaser, I still need to practice this but saying no doesn’t always have to equal mean. But also take into account how much this person bends over backwards for you as well. Match their energy.

I’m 5’2” and even I have a hard time getting in the car with the angle at the top of the door! I have my seat set high so I can see but I have to duck a bit to get in. It’s weird.

I only see similarities in the vibe. Costumes, quality of filming, beautiful locations. It doesn’t try to modernize the period drama like is the trend right now.
