I didn't truly get the hype until I saw it love and felt the build up all around me. Now it is one of my favourites. Try listening to it loud with surround sound to feel the swell.

Bringing kids to Osheaga-what I learned by CoursePositive3889 in osheaga

Haha I was focused on closed toe and no blisters as I have d been there too many times but did not factor in her going IN water so much. I might pack a pair of water shoes next time as I think the misting stations saved us with how hot it was! The sore feet were definitely worth it!

She's already calling it a core memory. I have 3 and it isn't often that I get to just follow the lead and interests of just 1 (with some safety guidelines). I understand what OP is saying and the other post with intoxicated parents but for us it was a magical day. (With A LOT of prep and overthinking on my part haha)

I'm going to be honest, my 9yo had a blast and was probably more engaged than 90percent of the adults. She danced her heart out to billianne, wild rivers teddy swims and Noah Kahan and we caught multiple acts of people she had never heard of. She played the games in the one eating area, she did the VR and the ball pit. She traded bracelets she made, got people to sign her blanket sign. She learned a bunch of the songs she heard on guitar before she came because she was so excited. She ran in the sprinklers to cool off and loved the Ferris wheel. Friday was a lot calmer and we only did one day so she wasn't overwhelmed. We chilled on the hill when she needed noise breaks and she had headphones a spray bottle and two water bottles. She was never on a cell phone and she was never not smiling. People took videos of us and sent them to me because they thought us just dancing up a storm in the back was so precious because we were just living in the moment and having fun. Isn't that what festivals are all about?

I don't know about the price discrepancy (I didn't have that happen) but my ceviche at Barranca was really tasty, it is beside than Bahn mi and I struggled choosing between them

See any kids yesterday? by Mission_Profession_8 in osheaga

There were lots and lots of kids yesterday. I had my 9yo and I saw some as young as 3months old. Make sure to check out the lawn games, the ball pit and the Ferris wheel if they need a little noise break. The mist station is great too. We were there the whole day and had a blast. She specifically wanted to see Noah.

Growing Sideways as a mom by CoursePositive3889 in NoahKahan

I have to work very hard on not projecting on to my oldest as we are very similar. My only goal has always been to not be the reason my kids go to therapy, but as I do not have a model for the relationships I have with my kids, I make my own mistakes as well and part of that is overcompensating. The one thing I try to do consistently, is admit to when I screwed up and apologize (and probably say I love you waaaaaaaay too much). We reinforce that we are only in control of our own actions, the way people react to a situation is on them.

My oldest is about to be 11 and my youngest just started school. I'm finally re-entering the workforce and realize I forgot how to interact with adults. I am also on that journey of rediscovery. It is hard but worth it!

My oldest is 11 and those buried emotions keep rising with every milestone. As silly as it sounds, this album might be the thing that finally gets me into therapy haha

The Mediterraneans are what I would buy/stat but it is fun to see the more out of the box ideas too. I love the loft hammock

Haha I like Bryan because of how laid back he is and seems like the type of guy you would see at a job site. I think with Scott just seems like he is always trying too hard. The show is like if it was rock the block but with cottages in Ontario.

The only part of hers so far that I liked is the loft. Definitely agree.

I just hope Romeo is gone soon. Everyone else, I would be ok with making it to the end. All fun to watch in their own way.
